Hi,

I have for the moment a problem with some tables, like this attack from mars.

Some parts of the playfield are blinking and the ball is blinking all the time.

Is this a known error? How can I fix this?

You can always re-download the table. I'm also using windows 7 64 bits and it works very well.

didn't work

Ok, I just found the solution myself, I was using the big image for the UVP, now going back to the usual one resolve the problem.

Firstly, this is an absolutely amazing recreation and it plays and looks like a dream. I am however also having regular issues with the machine losing track of balls during multiballs and ending up with 2 balls being launched the next ball.

Did anyone find a fix for this because it regularly ruins games? Change the ROM? Im using afm_113b.

I have played this game quite a bit, and never seen this happen. Strange.

Yes this is an amazing table -- one of my favorites.

I have also run into that problem when I have gotten deep into the game.

I've also had the problem - a ball disappears during multiball, messing up the rest of the game (including any new balls).

Otherwise a totally stunning creation!

I am not having a problem with the new B2S mod version of this table. Seems to have been fixed on that.

I haven't found anything in the table that can produce the error.
If it was that the table is missing a ball, then it could be a ball getting stuck somewhere. But when it sends two ball to the plunger it means there is one extra ball, and that is what I don't understand.
But it is my favorite table, so one day I'll find out :)

I have been afk for some time now but I do recall I having similar problem with the ball count.
But now Im back first download was the B2S ver of the table.
I had prolly a good 10-15 runs before I realized the nudge system dint work. (am not a big nudger) I jumped out and checked the boxes PBW Accelerometer and Normal Mounting, saved jumped back in and had the miss count ball issue during multiball. Not sure if it was the accelerometer that triggered it but I figure you don’t use it and it could clue. Have played at least another 50 times after that with no issues. So I had the issue only 1 time. This was using exe ver 9.12 and AttackFromMars_FS_B2S
Guess I have another 20 games or so with 9.14 no issues at all.

Thanks again for a super table.

Hope it helps :hmm:

  • Update 2.4
  • - Updated the table for VP914
  • - Tried to fix (again) the ball error during multiball
  • - New Aliens, thanks to Aurich
  • - New graphics, new flipper settings, new script (fading lights, ball collision, ball rolling, etc)

I haven't been able to reproduce the multiball error, but If the multiball isn't fixed then I should like to know.

The table includes updated graphisc in higher resolution (1024x2048) and a lot of alpha ramps, so you must turn on HR for this table.

I have also added my latest set of sounds.

I want to thank Aurich for the new Aliens and to Grizz for his help with the flashers.

The lightning is abslolutly awsome.

For now, I don't have problems with multiball.

The onlything I didn't hear was "the knocker" at a replay.
