This site has an image host that I have used for many years to upload my pics, and have never lost a photo or had it deleted from this site.

Click the "VPF Image Host" button, that you will find at top of every page on this site.

It is simple to use, and in my opinion, a great asset to this site.

Looking forward to seeing your build pics again.

Hi
Really nice build

Got a question on your Backbox monitor... Brand and model number please.
Been looking all over for a screen to my Williams Backbox.
You can find my build under the introduce yourself tab. And "build nearing completion".

Ill get my 43" Playfield monitor this week i hope... The 28" Backbox monitor i bought will be returned tomorrow. Too low...

thanks. I am using a DELL 30" PC HiRes Monitor (2k I think) from a few years ago. The thing produces a ton of heat and weighs a ton! But looks great!

So...  for the past few months I've been setting up my software/tables a bit more. I have migrated from PinballX to PuP as the main front end of the system. I have also gone through and set up the table media etc. At last count I think I have around 70-80 VPX tables installed. I also installed FX3 and bought a couple packs over the Black Friday/Christmas Holiday sales. . I have FX3 and FX2 working with DOFLinx. One thing I found is that sometimes the LED flasher wiring in my cab may wiggle loose. I have created a test utility to help me test my DOF outputs - I'm thinking of making it available to the community shortly.

During the build process I had been thinking about a topper for the cab. Realistically when I'm playing the games I wont be looking up there, and with some games theres so much going on. Ie. PuP player packs in T2/POTC etc. I actually uninstalled some PuP packs as they were a distraction. Although the MX lights on the backboard look good, I do like having the standard 5 RGBs as they work well across all games.  The Left and Right MX lights do work well in conjunction with the rest of the cab. These VP cabinets are like cars. You can spend more time Modding them than *actually* playing them ! ;-)   Some cabs go over the top IMHO... ie. the equivalent of a huge spoiler on the rear of a front wheel drive toyota corrola or similar ;-p

oh, I also upgraded the 120GB SSD to a 256GB SSD. I made a cloned backup as an emergency precaution.

So over the past few years I have been setting up the front end software etc.( I am using PuP ) and also PLAYING my cabinet. Summer months are busy, so it only gets attention in the Winter months.

Here's some recent pictures with the VPW Judge Dredd table.   Even at 1080p its still amazing!!

I know I'm reviving an ancient thread. I'm just starting on a Judge Dredd conversion and I'm curious about your backbox monitor. What model is it and what resolution are you running it at? 32" screens are too big and 27" seem too small.  I think Ultrawide 30" screens will fit, but the display ratio might be weird for backbox images
