Hi Hyper,

the script lines with the DMD x and y coordinates are in mostly to recover missing DMDs. The way Randr explained is the thing. Keep the DMD-code-lines commented and drag the DMD.

If You showed the borders to resize the display, please be aware that You must move the display after hiding the border to keep the setting.

Michael

Thanks it finally worked.

At the end I had to delete the regkey and start again because I had a big black border (width) on the left and right of the dmd.

Zany, seeing Your score, I could place some walls on the playfield just to match my handicap. . .

Thanks Michael / Zany - fun table. It is harder to get the strikes/spares than I thought before playing. Great job.

Even my mom likes this table. And at 63, she doesn't really play "games," period. This one is irresistible.

Able to add coins, following the instructions above. I just can't select any game mode using the right flipper button. Sort of stuck at the main menu. I hear a faint click sound when I press the right flipper button, just no movement or feedback. Right flipper works fine on all of my other tables. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, but wasn't the problem. Thank you though. It looks like I had my right flipper and L magna save key configured as same button. Had to look up what a magna save is as well. A quick google search of " magna save" helped, for any other curious minds.

What an awesome game, thanks for the VP adaptation!

I've played this game several times at local bowling alley and the VP flippers are far less forgiving than the ones on the physical machine that I played.  The default flipper strength is .75 and at this setting the flippers spray the balls around over a very narrow section of flipper,   I changed the flipper strength to .5 and became a strike machine (went from 112 for a high score over a dozen games to 270 on the the first and only game at the setting of .5) so this setting was obviously too low.    I realize that there are a lot of factors that control how an actual physical game plays (solenoid strength, age of rubbers ...)  but a setting of .6 seems to approximate what the game at the local bowling alley plays like.

I do recall playing this game too and finding it easier to score higher... I'll give these settings a try too, thanks.

Hi,

I am working on a VPX port of this table, as it should be possible without too much effort. We can compare the flipper behaviour with the new physics then.

Can someone tell me how to move the display from my pindmd to the backglass like this?

It is trying to display both of them at the same time on my pindmd so it flickers. I cant seem to drag it from the pindmd.

I think you can hit F1 key while table is running, and it will bring up the ROM menu.

Maybe you can try unchecking Use External DMD (dll) in the menu settings.

This will only effect this games ROM. If it doesn't work, you can always go back and checkmark it again.

Worth a try. I am not a cabinet owner, but I think this might work for this table.

Hi Cue777,

I am not sure if this will work on a pindmd as the display is double the height of a normal DMD display. Gottlieb used two separate DMD displays and I had to change the backglass image to make room for the pinmame double-DMD.

Regards

Michael
