Zany, you edited the "4" up to 5 or 6 and you could play some Multiball Games without any Issues ?

Max, maybe you can see the Ball Errors, if you play many Games and every Game very long ...

Line 1865:
Sub BallRelease_Hit() NewBallid : End Sub
Sub BallRelease_UnHit() NewBallid : End Sub

NewBallid ( at B2BCollision.vbs ) does count up 1 Ball everytime.

I think this do + 1 at Createball and again (but shouldnt do ...) + 1 when leave it.

This can be the Problem ?

The balls error I've seen only once when I selected Multiball from DMD, and before seeing the error message, I heard a burst of collision sounds even though there was no collision between the balls.
The maximum number of balls you can put even 10, instead of 5 or 6, if this is not enough to solve the problem, means that the B2B collision code needs to be updated, with the code used by many authors (you find it too in my tables) I have no such problem.

It's the B2B code, I've sent a version to STAT with the updated routines to check although even after this was changed the missing ball error still happened.  (The script error did not though).

I ran some diagnostics via a timer and noticed when the multiball is selected from the DMD, one drained ball does not get added to the trough which is weird.

I've updated the test table with the new vpmtrough routine and tested for a while but I could not get that mode to come up again so I've sent to STAT to test.

We'll see if the updated routines sorts it out.

It's a weird problem.

Stat/Dozer:- Did we ever get confirmation that the new routine fixed this issue for good?  Now that the table is showing 'broken' in VPForums, is it possible to upload a version with the changes included?

Hello there, I'm not sure if it fixed it for good but STAT indicated that the multiball issue was resolved.  I haven't played this game since I implemented the fixes so I haven't done extensive testing but after I did them I played quite a few games and the error did not present itself.

I'd be happy to upload a fixed version but I really need to get the original authors approval to do so.  I'll revisit the table this week and see if I can just upload the script changes which should be cool.  I'm not sure though that it was just the script I changed or some other table elements.  Give me a couple of days and I'll revisit it.

Dozer it's a great news you put your hands in one of the great tables of the past.
Some posts ago I request it to nealtron the table creator but unluckily it's last activity is on March the 22.

I hope you you'll try with the approval

Here is a link to the fixed version of the table - I'll keep this link active unless Mega get taken to court again and their servers confiscated :)

This table is a carbon copy of v1.1 on this site with the additional script fixes and a few sounds for collision and ball rolling routines to work.

Thanks to the applicable authors for the updated routines.

No worries man. Also with this version you have to use the vb scripts from the VP10 beta if you are not already due to a new trough handler which is used.
