Pinball Champ is a 1982 Zaccaria classic, notable for its unusual two-level playfield with four flippers, including two on a transparent upper playfield. It also features speech, a timed “bonus ball,” and the distinctive, colorful artwork that made Zaccaria machines stand out in the early ’80s.
 
 
Credits:
Burger: Added nFozzy physics, Fleep sounds, gameplay tuning to better match the real machine, resolved various layout issues, and added LUT options.
 
Teisen: Extensive visual improvements throughout the table, including updated artwork, inserts, plastics, lighting, shadows, metalwork, materials, ramps, targets, bumpers, and numerous other details.

This backglass combined with this DMD image works reasonably well, until a newer version gets released

Thank you very much for this update. It is a great improvement over the previous one, which was not bad, but this is certainly a lot better.

I played the real machine a lot in my late teens, and consider it one of the best Zaccaria tables.

I feel that the flipper physics on this version could still use a little tweaking (some shots seem too strong and occasionally unexpected ball direction, especially from the tip of the flippers), but all in all, an excellent effort.
