a larger ball image is an interesting idea.
Anyways I think as far as rules and scoring Im about 90% there. I still need to add the 3 way combo scoring but I think thats about it.
Lights, sounds, and graphics are the meat of whats left.

Any suggestions on what should be on what plastics? The open grave thats used for mode collection is already figured out so that one is off limits but if you guys have any suggestions Id be happy to use them.

Check out the latest modifications. Im pretty proud of how the pop bumpers came out.

So I lied hehe, Im working on a couple other features. theres now a small cop car at the top of the right ramp entrance, when the headshot bonus isnt lit on the left ramp entrance the ball loops around and out the right ramp etrance and to the upper right flipper. i decided to make this a loop so that consecutive shots around the loop scores more and more points. Im my playing I havent been able to pull off more than 3 shots because the speed arond the loop seems to increase with each shot and makes it hard to time. Im going to make scoring pretty decent for anything over the 2nd loop.
Its pretty cool though the lights on the cop car flash when you make the loop and stay flashing as long as the timer that monitors the loop is active. cant wait to add sounds to this table.
This also helped me decide that the right ramp with have a road type texture on it. Look for an update this weekend.

Sad to see this one deserted...

If anyone has the later version, i'd like to try it. I only have version 0.3, which was a while back..

Monicle, i hope you come back (if you are indeed MIA), or pass this one on to be completed, it is a cool layout and you put so much work into it!!!

Don't suppose anyone would be allowed to take it over as a mod...? Does look like it has a lot of promise...

his last post was last year so all the pin links are now dead
if anyone has this wip and I can get his permission,
sure I'll finish it I love what it looks like so far
Okay I just fired off a pm to him, hopefully I'll hear back
and won't have to do a search for him

Hheh sorry everybody. I have a bad habit of starting projects until all the hard parts are done and then moving onto something else. I do have the latest files that I will repost again this afternoon. Im going to do a quick breeze through and make sure all the stuff I was working on got completed. I honestly cant remember if i finished some of the loop coding.

I have given Faralos the permission to try to finish this one up but, if he chooses, Ill give anyone permission to help out. Sometimes a collaborative effort is all thats needed. Playfield graphics arent complete, scoring isnt totally complete (targets and all that are done but I wanted to do 3 way loop scoring and whatnot), and sounds and music are definitely needed.

One tip is that the viewing angle is pretty much locked as the graphics only look right at this angle so hopefully thats not a problem. If this were going to be a top-down full screen pin the graphics would need a full redesign.

Again Ill post up the latest .vps this afternoon for all interested.

i didnt do extensive troubleshooting ut I think there may be a ball number glitch when you collect quick multiball and extraball on the same ball. maybe not but anyways, heres the file

Woohoo! Okay I got an email from this wonderful builder
who is going to let me (us?) work to finish this fab pin!
I'm gonna rip into it and let ya' know what all it still needs
the 3 way loop scoring thing I may need help on
if it's not just done with case and effect
as well as some graphics but lemmee look at it for a bit first

okay got the wip now will post back in a bit about it

okay my biggest hurdle is that this pin is NOT built on any template at all
it is freestanding meaning no start or end game exists yet
I may need help to drop it into an existing template
and it needs TONS of sounds which I will start to collect today

You crack me up, why would you offer to finish a pin, when you can't even script a start or end game routine? facepalm.gif

because most people start out with an existing table template that's why
I just got tons of sounds for it and will start it today, as for dropping it into a template I may need some help with that
as for scripting' start' and 'end' coding I never have so I use Ichigos templates for that very reason

Ill code up the start and finish myself. Ive never been one to build off of someone elses work myself so never even bothered with a template or anything.
It wont be a big deal, a few variables and whatnot.
Ill try to code it up tonight if I can find the time and Ill send you the new script.

Cool thank you! It's also I hated to see this fall by the wayside
and you coded it all neat and pretty too very streamlined, to be honest
I did not know you could script the entire sub on one line like you did everywhere!
I pmed you so you know what I am doing, as for you guys, I am not gonna even try to put in Ichigo's
template as he uses all sorts of text boxes in his. Monicle, I think you also mentioned you have a DMD?
I used one that Wizards hat did for me in Sanatorium if you want to use that.
It ain't too hard to understand
I love Zombies, they are cool so yeah I jumped on this one to save it from gathering dust
as well as help out a fella pinner (pinhead?)
and the stuff already put into it is really cool great tie ins
with events and such...he really worked his butt off on this
so for all I can do to it for him sure I'll bust muh hump too!

I wish I had a dmd. I asked around when I first started on how to make one but noone seemed to have any info. I had all sorts of animations I wanted to do and would still be willing to do if anyone had good info on the subject.
