I did a search and couldn't find it there.

All I see there is Fireball 1972, and Fireball 2 1981

Fireball Classic is from 1985.

IPD No. 853

 

Do you have a link?

 

EDIT:

Batch was mistaking the 1972 version for the Fireball Classic version which was made in 1985.

There is no Fireball Classic on VPU.

5) Pretty much any original that plays well and is not just a re-skin of an existing table; I absolutely love Car-toons, Goonies, etc.

Was mir fehlt sind einige richtig gute EM-Tische der 60er, wie

• Apollo (Williams 1967) oder Alpine Club (Williams 1965) - beide sind vergleichbar und zählen für mich zu den Tischen mit dem höchsten Fun-Faktor, weil die Target-Lane einfach geil ist.
• Joker (Bally 1968) Design von Ted Zale, Grafik von Jerry Kelly, für mich das Dream-Team. Der Joker ist relativ offen und schlicht, es macht aber enorm Spaß, die Kugel in die Lane zu schicken, wo mit der Zeit mehr und mehr Punkte abgeräumt werden können. 
• Cosmos (Bally 1969) ebenfalls von Ted Zale und Jerry Kelly. Cosmos ist einfach nur wunderschön, hat ein ungewöhnliches Design und ein originelles Spielprinzip. Programmiertechnische Herausforderung dürfte das Backglass sein.
• Six Sticks (Bally 1966) ein sehr schlichter Flipper mit 6-Player-Funktion. Ich habe keine Ahnung, warum dieser Tisch so süchtig macht.
• Thoro-Bred (Gottlieb 1965), einer der wenigen Tische mit Multi-Bumper und m. E. der beste. Spielt sich besser als Skyline. Von diesem Tisch gibt es zwar eine VP-Version (VP9?), diese ist aber qualitativ unakzeptabel. 

Ich habe die genannten Tische in meiner Jugend viel gespielt und kann versichern, dass es sich im Pinball-Delikatessen handelt. Weil diese Schätze nach und nach kaum noch existieren, wäre es schön, wenn man sie der Nachwelt als VPX-Reproduktion erhalten könnte.

And, yeah, I totally realize I will probably never see these tables any time soon unless there's a massive breakthrough in cracking SPIKE/SPIKE 2.

I haven't gone back and looked at everyone's, but I imagine most of these are exclusive to my top 5 wishes:

 

1. Army and Navy (Rock-Ola 1934)

2. Knock Out (Gottlieb 1950)

3. World's Series (Rock-Ola 1934)

4. Bumper (Bally 1935)

5. Spit Fire (Genco 1935)

I've already done Army Navy and Spit Fire but never released them for numerous reasons. I wanted to reply to this post awhile ago but my health has kept me almost a year away from making much of anything as you can see at Pinball Nirvana.

 

WHY are the two tables above not released to the public? I could give you names but it's not worth my time of folks that like to "take a walk on the wild side". Just NOT worth my time, energy and constant bitching from folks who have nothing else to do.

 

I've moved on, had fun and yes I AM making tons more tables but it is 99% doubtful they'll ever see public releases. I don't want it to be this way, but a handful of folks made it happen. You can thank them personally as they frequent this website constantly.

 

My health has been hell - walking left, crooked, abnormal, walking with a cane 24/7, shingles, not being able to eat and not sleeping are many factors that have kept me from a lot of all this stuff. My blood pressure is also a huge factor and I almost had a heart attack at the age of 49.

 

So there you have it. I just wanted to post about these two amazing tables with a decent reply but I apologize for these not being released.

 

Take care, it's been fun and I RARELY post over here for many reasons (Noah Fentz and his site is NOT the reason) but now I think I have retired since I've been asked to help make Atari 2600 game cartridges via programming so that is where I am headed. I've been asked to make some Universal and Exidy games for a particular company so that's what I may do.

 

I respect Noah and what he has accomplished here at VPF.

 

I hope to see as many pre war pinball tables from other authors. From you as well. Take care and see you at Pinball Nirvana where I now and then post.

Does not appear that there is a VPX version of this.  Looking at the posts he made on the topic at PN, his heart just didn't seem to be there as it would involve a completely new build.

 

Most updated I could find was a FS version for VP995, but it's too dark for my liking, and it's been so long since I've run VP9 that I don't remember how to change the lighting LOL.
