Yes but both of them are illegal, and therefore nowhere to find. I want an legal Release. Besides Ghostbusters 2016 dont run with regular pinmame so you messed up your config if you install the other special vpinmame.
Balls of Steel is on VPX ? Really ? Can you show me please?

KISS was too early to be released, thats why it is nowhere to find. This much i know now.
I dont say that i want an legal release right now, but when time comes.

You don't "mess up your config" by installing the other PinMAME. I have Ghostbusters running and it's fine.

For me it is messed up, coz after installing vpinSPA, i cant play other tables any longer, then Script Runtime Error appears.
only GB 2016 is playable. Thats why i want an proper legal release.

Then you have it installed wrong. You need to go back and reinstall both VPX and Ghostbusters. You most likely didn't follow the instructions for installing Ghostbusters and ended up removing something from the original PinMAME folder.

for one, it does nothing to scripts so should cause no runtime errors
and it does nothing to vpinmame unless you did something terribly wrong

Should be no parts of vpinspa even inside the vpinmame folder

 

though for one table, i do not think it is worth the effort

just get the version of that table that was redone to be romless and entirely script driven

Or play JP's Slimer, which i think is a better table

Right...that's Slimer...but he was saying that there was a romless, scripted version of GB now, not Slimer.

I have plenty of tables, don’t really have a wish list.  New tables that are released are just bonus tables.

I'm scrounging for more VP8/9 rough diamonds to convert. Preferably multiballers from mid 80's onward and free to mod. I found the 2 Force tables thanks to this thread, and both of them were great fun for me to build. I'll take a look at any existing "rough" VPX conversions that fit the bill too. I'll consider stuff with no permission provided the author is long gone. I'm not even sure if modding permission applies to conversions because they're usually presented as "new" or "rebuilt"  tables when they're posted. I'm not trying to start a philosophical discussion about modding, just wanting some table suggestions. Cheers

Considering that Most (not all) vp9 to VPX conversions require
1) major table rebuilding
2) major artwork redoing
3) minor to major script reworking
At a point, it almost ceases to be a mod and becomes a new table based on an old table

Even tables that i have done a very quick conversion for someone to take over making it nice were majorly changed to have it at least play properly in VPX
