UPDATE

4.3.1 Updated 13.11.2023
- Added the outlane ball saver award.
- Fixed the ball image.

This update was mostly to fix the ball image, which got exchanged aby another image, things happen when you press CTRL S to save the table and the focus was still on the ball image :)
Joe Picasso is making a mod of the table and he found out that the outlanes do not have any award. The award is that if the light on the outlane is on, you get the ball back :) But I guess I either forgot to add it, or I simply thought that there were enough ballsavers :) I actually don't remember :) Anyway, I added the award to the Jackal hole list of awards.

You will find a manual in the download page of the table. There are all the rules and modes explained.

A bit offtopic but still ontopic, if anyone has PC VR and is into Serious Sam, Humble Bundle currently have a Devolver VR bundle on sale which includes a bunch of Serious Sam VR games plus VR versions of Tentactular, Gorn, Talos Principle, Block'hood.

I tihnk the minimum you can pay is about US$10  (AU$15.15 for us Aussies). Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

This is a great original, but I'm wondering if anyone is keeping count of all the reskins out there??? (JP you should have trademarked it and you could live off the residuals). :tongue3:

It's like when Destruk came out with his music tables. We got one for each band- same identical layout lol. I know coding can be hard. So take a table like this and leave the coding in place, but move some objects around. THEN reskin it.  Now if you'll excuse me, I have to tell some kids to get off the lawn...

I even tried to supply some different fonts for his flasher dmd to maybe spur some change, but they dont seem very popular based off the download count, so oh well...

I guess people prefer PuP packs than just a DMD with 2 lines and a background :)

Not a fan of PUP myself. I already had to move to a bigger SSD because I had too many tables. You start adding 2gb+ tables and you run out of space quickly. Remember when Faralos got picked on because he had mp3s in tables, making them 100/150mb?

And now only the tables themselves are between 300 and 400mb :) Al least I keep mine quite small :) My biggest table is Gargamel Park which is 87Mb, but it includes 21 full length songs (which I think they are terrible, but that's another thing :) )

edit: I think the VPW tables are huge, but they look really nice :)

Drive/storage is one of the least costly parts of a computer, let alone a cabinet.

For cabs, FullDMD screens are the norm, or quickly getting that way. Traditional 2-line DMDs are too limited, and difficult to see/read for some of us.

... and being new to authoring, its also very limited... I'm completely revamping Swamp Thing (based on SS2) and didnt know that the DMD code crashes hard if it it cannot find a matching image... so any lower-case letters, or special characters ( - , &) it pukes.

What would have been great is an easy to use DMD app that autogenerated the characters based on OS font files... which are universal and easily obtained and/or created.

What would also be interesting is if people started making FlexDMDs for FullDMD 16x9 screens

Yes, I know, my DMD code is not for everyone :D I guess I'm too old and I don't watch much the DMD while playing :D

and I forgot: my DMD also crashes if the text lines are too long :D

Yup... but how long? It doesnt say in the code (at least I could not find it).  I spent like 2 hrs (3 separate times combined) trying to figure out what was causing that error.

Your table is definitely being loved for reskinning.  In the soon-to-be-released Swamp Thing 2.0 I changed not only visuals (pretty diff than any table I've seen yet) but also how several of the battles work and tweaked the table's layout and physics so it actually plays a bit differently (ball can go places it could not before). Of course all the concepts are the same but at least I mixed things up for the player... and they can set a difficulty level (I made battles shorter and a bit easier by default).

The texts should be 20 characters or less. I'm looking forward to play for Swamp Thing 2.0 :) I hope it can be played without a puppack.

Doesnt have a PUP.  It will be released in 2ish weeks... waiting for Robby to put in nFozzy and for VR to get done.
