Hi Thalamus,
thank you very much for the link.
I already downloaded it and next I'll try it.
As I already said other times, I'm just a user about VP.
I think that people who work on pinball construction (no matter if real or virtual) must be very good technicians but artists too.
I've not any clue about how to work on a pinball machine construction.
Anyways, if I found an issue I would like to try to fix it by myself and share the solution, even if it's a little contribution to this community.
For that thank you again for the tool's link.
About this issue, I think I got it.
I did what JP suggested and this afternoon, I reloaded the original table.
The issue was indeed in the Ramp11 "ramp ceiling".
I moved the bottom edge of Ramp11 to the very same Y coordinate of the bottom edge of Ramp10 (let me call it the "ramp floor").
Doing that the ball never bounce back, but increasing its speed it still resulted in a braking effect along the ramp because in case the ball detach from the ramp floor it bumps on the ceiling with tangential force due to its rotation which opposes to the ball direction (see the attached image, the rotation of the ball produces a force on Ramp10 that move the ball upward-left, while the same rotation once the ball touches Ramp11 produces a force on it that would move the ball downward-right resulting in a brake effect).
At this point I set the physical parameter of the virtual ramp ceiling all to zero (it is virtual so it's not mandatory it should have friction, elasticity and scatter angle at all), and everything works great now.
Have a great day.
Massimo
