I just loaded up this great table to try to rule the universe but during the first multiball I received four balls in play somehow. When the third ball was lost the game registered end of balls even though the fourth was still in play. From then on out I was served two balls in the launch lane, even after the game was over and I stated a new game two balls were served. Not sure how to repeat the bug, but it is in there somewhere in case anyone want's to go hunting.

Had something similar. Got an extra ball in play and when I lost the balls I received an additional ball for every next ball. The game still thinks there is one ball in play, because losing one of the two balls stopped the game.

I cannot make up my mind which version do I like more... this or the Megapin one. Both have elements that I think are better than the same in the other.... argh... both are great of course though smile.gif

I also got this bug. I got multiball, then one (or two) ball/s drained and then the flippers stopped working. Next there was 2 balls in the plungerlane and from there on the game was very weird with one extra ball the rest of
the game. Ball drained and game over but still one ball on the playfield.

From there on i get two balls at start every game.

I was also plagued with this same extra-ball-on-the-playfield issue. Press 'B' on the keyboard (assuming default controls, of course) and select "No" (Remove a ball from the trough). Fixed it right up for me.

Nice to know I am not going crazy. The dead flipper thing happened to me as well as the extra ball on the table.

Interesting... I play the Megapin (GRONI) version of this table more often (just because that was loaded on my cabinet before rosve created the B2S version of jpsalas' table).
These problems are not present on that one.

I'm not doing anything in VP over the summer, trying to avoid computers as much as possible when It's warm outside.
After the summer I'll B2S a couple of Lord Hiryu's tables, probably starting with my favourite BK2K.

Awesome Rosve looks realy nice.

Please say that it is easy to show just the back glass without the speaker grill for us 3 screen cab users. Or is it a re-program of the table?

Thanks Paul

Thought I'd chime in on this.

First, removing the grill is all about stretching the image. It doesn't matter that its an exe. You are going to do some stretching here.

So, start editing the x/y settings for your backglass (third and forth lines) in the screenres.txt

First, in Windows, setup whatever monitor resolution works for you. In my case, I have a 24" LED backglass monitor that supports up to 1920x1080, but I could not get image stretching, to remove the grill, at this resolution without double image problems as shown in this thread. (Where it looks like two backglasses are showing up)

The cool thing is though, you can simply just launch the backglass exe to see what happens to it, then press ESC while clicked into it for it to quit. This is helpful in figuring this thing out.

Ok, so you are going to have to adjust TWO settings.

1. Windows monitor resolution.
2. Screenres.txt Backglass X/Y resolution.

Until you get no grill, AND no double images.

For me on my 24" LED Samsung Monitor

Windows Resolution is 1440x900
Screenres.txt Resolution is 1440x1095

If I go to 1096 on the screenres.txt resolution, I get the double images. I tried this with 1920x1080 and after 2 hours gave up trying to make it work.

So for me, the above numbers work. That may not work for you. I don't know what will. You simply have to first find a windows resolution that works, and then find the screenres.txt resolution that will work for you.

My first B2S table was Scared Stiff. And in that setup, that came with two backglass exes (one with grill, one without) I chose the one without. I tested the one without, using the above settings, and it still works ok. So that is good.

The only thing I noticed is that Fun House, which by default the DMD is part of the backglass, is now off the bottom of the screen. Can I use the script to enable a vpinmame DMD and pull that to my 3rd screen? I dunno, have not gotten there yet. Wanted to post this message first.

Anyhow, there is no magic setting to change. You've got your work cut out for you. Again, find a windows resolution that is full screen. Some of the oddball middle resolutions either look like crap, or they are not full screen. (IE drag a window off the screen and instead of it going to the edge of your monitors bezel, it'll be offscreen like an inch inside the bezel) Then set the screenres.txt's width (X) the same, and start increasing the Y. Do 100 at a time. Once the backglass doubles, go back, remove 50. If it's fine, add 10 at a time. Trial and error until you get it right.

Good luck.

Update: Yes, you can enable a separate DMD for games like Fun House, via the tables script. Hidden = 0 and you might have to adjust rol = 0 if your screen is landscape like mine is. Also, all my saved DMD positions for games like Cirqus Voltaire etc were messed up after I made the no grill stretch changes. So had to go back into VP and adjust each one again. (Even though DMD screen's resolution never changed.)

But the setup is working perfectly now.

Actually, I think the exe contains both the backglass with and without the grill and if you enter a value in screenres.txt for your dmd it automatically uses the right backglass. Correct me if I'm wrong, but thats what I do.

Actually, there is a magic setting that removes the speaker panel, stretches the BG image and moves the LED display to your 3rd screen.

Okay weird issue I'm having with this table! Mind you it was playing perfict last week and I didn't change a thing! Anyway to the problem. I'm running ledcontrol and every time I start up this table I get a god awful noise kinda like a clicking buzzing sound I think coming from my shaker motor! Any thoughts on how to fix it? It's not affecting another tables just this one!

In my case when this happened it was too high of a tilt sensitivity in VP build 7. Essentially the thing was tilting all the time and the tilt noise was non-stop. Could be something like that or maybe the sensor calibration being out of whack?
