One question re the sound levels. Have tried finding sound controls for the game as id like to hear freddy a bit louder over the game sounds but i cant find an option anyway. Was it analog sound control with the real machine?
Yes, this table had analog controls, as all of the Gottlieb System 3 tables did. Never understood why Gottlieb never integrated volume into their DMD tables like the other manufacturers did.
However, there may be a way to increase the volume through the PinMAME DMD display. You may have to try this outside of Hyperpin as I don't know if you can do this while Hyperpin is running. Once you have the table running via the VP editor, follow these steps to see if you can increase the volume:
1. Click on the DMD window with the mouse
2. Press the tilde (~) key. This will bring up a white box inside the DMD window.
3. Using the up and down arrow keys, scroll through the options in the white box until you see YM2151 #0 Ch.1 in the white box.
4. Using the left and right arrow keys, adjust the channel volume. Using the left arrow key will lower the channel volume, the right arrow key will raise the channel volume.
5. Using the up and down arrow keys, scroll through the options in the white box until you see YM2151 #0 Ch.2 in the white box.
6. Repeat step 4 to adjust the channel volume
7. Using the up and down arrow keys, scroll through the options in the white box until you see MSM5295 #0 (voice 0) in the white box.
8. Repeat step 4 to adjust the volume of that channel
9. Using the up and down arrow keys, scroll through the options in the white box until you see MSM5295 #0 (voice 1) in the white box.
10. Repeat step 4 to adjust the volume of that channel
11. Using the up and down arrow keys, scroll through the options in the white box until you see MSM5295 #0 (voice 2) in the white box.
12. Repeat step 4 to adjust the volume of that channel
13. Using the up and down arrow keys, scroll through the options in the white box until you see MSM5295 #0 (voice 3) in the white box.
14. Repeat step 4 to adjust the volume of that channel
15. Press the tilde key (~) to close the white box
16. Click anywhere on the table to return focus to the table.
Hope this helps.
Sure did help!
Thank you so much for your help. Freddy sounds awesome now and I can also go change my other gottleib tables. Said it once and ill say it again. This forum rocks!

Hi,
I had the same problem, I also have the PBW.
Just comment these lines
If Plunger.MotionDevice> 0 Then
PBWPlunger.TimerEnabled = 1
End If
And it works.

Cool table! I seem to only be getting music and sounds, but no voices or anything. Maybe I need to download the ROM again
Look at this post in this thread to raise the volume of the voices. The voices are there, but are set rather low.

So glad that it helped you.
Just be advised though, not all Gottlieb tables have those options to adjust in the PinMAME window. While the System 3 DMD tables basically have the same options, the System 3 Alpha-Numeric tables have different options depending on the table. Then the earlier Gottliebs (System 80, System 80A, System 80B) have different options as well.

Updated to v1.01
-Fixed the pinwizard code
-Added options menu to shut off alpha flashers
-Resized all textures
To change the buy ijn button i believe you need to change it in the vpmKeys.vbs
If you want to change the start key open the table script and find this line:
If Keycode = 2 then Controller.Switch(4) = 1
Change the 2 to the appropriate keycode

Awesome. I will try that when I get home from work.
Are alpha flashers turned off from the script or a menu somewhere?

Options menu will pop up .
You can disable.the.menu also for.front.end use. So if you're using a front end. Run the table first in just vp

Ooops. I disabled the menu but now want to turn off the alpha flashers. How do I turn the menu back on? Thanks UW.
