rev3448 is up:

- fix static triangle count statistic
- make Standard FXAA the new default setting instead of doing nothing
- add option to the global video preferences to disable reflections of dynamic elements on the playfield (to help lower end PC systems)
- fix broken triangulation at start/end of rubbers
- workaround yet another backglass light issue/regression, now non-bulb-lights should also work again as intended

I don't use a front end, but don't these front ends do exactly that, have a key to bring up instruction cards?

Which is why the Instruction and Score Cards are included in most media packs available for tables?

I am assuming most cabinet users do use a frontend.

NFozzy's method is great for DT users who dont use front ends!! (I am in this category!!)

most cab users have there cabs so VP can be played more like the real thing... and to have to use a mouse and keyboard there to launch the tables kinda kills the illusion.... they also have lots of money invested in there rigs, and the frontend is the final polish.... and now with popper its polish plus

That was exactly my point.

Cab users already use frontends to view Instruction Cards.

I just play two tables with the last beta and the bumpercaps are not shown (Agents 777, Aztec). The images are there.

I think, I remember there was something changed in one of the last betas?

Looks like the normals flipped. Looks like the caps are separate primitives and not the build in cap

There is a small bug in the latest revision: when you select a point in a light or a wall, other points get "lightened up" as if they are selected too, but if you move the point you selected then it moves only the point, not the others.

It is very easy to reproduce the bug: just create a new demo table, click on a light and select one point of the light, and you'll see other points get "selected" or lightened up. Move the point you selected and it works just like before, so the bug is in the viewing only.

@Joey: I fired up both agent77 and aztec here. No such issues with 3448.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I want to thank whoever asked for scaling on lights.

And of course thank you Devs for implementing it into the editor!!

It is so nice to be able to just scale light instead of trying to move each point out or in. Works for flashers too!!

Very much appreciated!!

Not sure how long it has been implemented into editor, but I just found it, and it is very useful!!

I just learned how to use it on TRON table. But forgot to thank you all for adding this!!

THANKS!!!

Is this the right place?? I would like to report that since updating to the latest version of VPX 10.5 I have experienced balls getting stuck when I previously didn't.

Playing Indy 500. a ball that was shot to the right ramp, about an inch from the bottom the ball went half way through the right ramp and got stuck bouncing around there. I couldn't nudge it out etc.

I had another ball get stuck playing Indy 500 but I can't remember where on the table it was.

I had a ball get stuck playing Dark Knight but I don't know if that was a VPX problem or a problem with the actual table being that it is new.

If you need more information or specific testing, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Could be related to my ramp changes. Ramps are now more precise regarding collisions, so could be that Indy 500 relies on some of the old behavior by accident. I'll check..

I'm no expert at building actual tables, but it looks to me like the ramp there indeed is not fully closed?? Could someone skilled please double-check?

Hi noticed a bug that was in rev3434 where  numerical displays were not showing on some tables and I noticed this newest revision still has the same bug? Any suggestions?

I download both tables again and they are now working. Maybe it's a problem with the POV, I have changed. :bye2:

Yes. It is fixed in the latest ... which is not 3434 - not even 3443 anymore. Upgrade. http://www.vpforums....=39428&p=407815

Hi, I have three questions:

Would it be possible to have "Translate"  with Undo, Lock, Copy, Paste ... when you click on "Edit"

It would be very helpful, for example when you want to move score LEDS in the Backdrop view

Is there a way to not see the base of a bumper through the bumpercap primitive

I'm working on a black & white table and the default kickers have a colored bottom

where can I find these kickers so that I can change the bottom color to grey, if it's possible ?
