Noticed that the Mephisto ROM has been uploaded now. Is that compatable with this table?

I got the rom files from Raúl (a friend from Spain who owns one Mephisto, the same one who took all the pictures). Then I sent the roms to destruk so the vpinmame team could try to emulate them. As I understand it will be very difficult if not impossible to emulate due to an unknown chip (PAL) and a cpu not emulated in mame or pinmame. I guess destruk will inform us if there are any changes in the pinmame code.

You're welcome Sabbat. Thanks to JPSalas and his friend Raul for providing the roms. The emulation isn't working yet but there is a start in pinmame on getting it to work -- ( see mephisto.c )

Thanks JPSalas for another FanTasTic Table recreation! smile.gif

When you want the Backglass to be shown during gameplay, add (as normally) the Backglass image in the appropriate HyperPin directory, and add the Table to the Visual Pinball.xml as you would normally do.

Thanks to bitupset for the HD Video provided!

Cheers,
FD.

I would like to add the backglass UVP. I've taken all the normal steps, but I'm not seeing the lines in the script "set controller =" blah blah blah. Is there something different that needs to be done for this table, to bring up the backglass?

So is there no way to have the score display on the backglass then?

I don't think this table uses a rom. B2S would be the solution here.

No but Mephistos ROM is emulated now in pinmame2.3 so hopefully JP will update his table to use the ROM.

Whatever method will be used .. a nice Backglass will always be needed! smile.gif
I wanted to upload the actual BG but for one or another reason I can not ..

Do a search on Flying Dutchman's 'Backglass Paradise' and it will be there for you! wink.gif

Cheers,
FD.

ps. the one to run with UVP is ready to go ..

Great job JP. This is a really cool table and with some layback to make the flippers look more birdseye, it is complete for me. smile.gif

I read the whole thread and wondered how many people really know how much work has been put into this table. Thanks for all the effort, you really did go the extra mile in this table.

Freddie, I found if I don't use the nudge, a lot of these easy games are more fun for me. smile.gif

Thanks JP.

This table doesn't use a rom since the real rom it is not emulated (or at least it wasn't when I made the table), it is like an original table, and only made it for a 1 player only.
