you changed the path of the directories in the registry fix?

What do you mean "Changed the path" When you click on it, it does not ask for a path, it just asks you if you want to install it and then says it has been installed. I placed it in the tables folder and clicked on it, no help. I have looked in the registry for a file called Pinserver, cannot find one. Where is it?

Moogster66 and Flying for execute the file of register that I have upload in mediafire BEFORE of execute the file you have that change the path of all of lines with path C\\VPINBALL.
EXAMPLE:
In this line:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{4FA1F7E3-D0D3-11D6-BD7C-0050BACC708A}\1.0\0\win32]
@="C:\\VPINBALL\\Tables\\pin.dll"
You have to change C:\\VPINBALL\\Tables\\pin.dll by your PATH in your windows XP and that myself for each path because that path of file you have diferent.
You have to do WITH EACH LINE that have the path C:\\VPINBALL\\Tables\
Do you understand me now?
I believe that it doens´t work because have other path in your Windows XP comparing with the file of register that I have uploaded
Cheers

I am understanding, and found that line in the registry, and changed it. But you said "for each line", how many more lines are there? Is there a way to search for each line? Just changing that one line did not fix the errors.

C:\HyperPin
C:\Program Files\Visual Pinball\Tables
C:\Program Files\Visual Pinball\Tables
These are the directories where the files are. Two separate directories. I did not realize the registry edit could be opened up with notepad. I opened notepad, and started to see what you were talking about.

Moogster66 then have to put in each line of file of register your path:C:\Program Files\Visual Pinball\Tables
Example:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{4FA1F7E3-D0D3-11D6-BD7C-0050BACC708A}\1.0\0\win32]
@="C:\\VPINBALL\\Tables\\pin.dll"
Have to see so:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{4FA1F7E3-D0D3-11D6-BD7C-0050BACC708A}\1.0\0\win32]
@="C:\Program Files\Visual Pinball\Tables\\pin.dll
Have to change all the lines of my path by yourself
It,s very easy.
Example:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{4FA1F7E3-D0D3-11D6-BD7C-0050BACC708A}\1.0\0\win32]
@="C:\\VPINBALL\\Tables\\pin.dll"
Have to see so:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{4FA1F7E3-D0D3-11D6-BD7C-0050BACC708A}\1.0\0\win32]
@="C:\Program Files\Visual Pinball\Tables\\pin.dll

OK, I am not getting the first two errors now. But it says Mesa.dll missing. Table.dll? After I click on OK in the error window about 7 times, the error window jumps up to the backglass monitor. After I click on OK in the error window another 7 times, the backglass image and table come on the screen. The reels did show up, and worked. So the registry fix Macnods sent me worked, but I must be missing another file. Found Mesa.dll online and put it in the root of the VP folder, errors gone. Everything seems to be working fine now. I'll have to play it some and let you guys know. Thanks for walking me through this stuff! Mike
Edit: Can confirm this is working with Hyperpin as well. Thanks so much my friends for your help!

Cool. No choppiness at all? Do you understand now what needs to be done to each table to convert them?
If I understood what needs to be done with the scoring in the script, I would love to convert a few tables over. Thanks.

I am understanding it some. I actually got the same reel to work on Bob's Three Stooges table. The only problem I have found is the size of the reel image seems to have a lot to do with what size the actual reel on the backglass can be. It does not automatically resize it. So I am playing with it to see what can be done. It is easy enough to move the reel around the backglass, not so easy to resize it. Basically all you have to do once you get the pinserver working is to add the script at the end of the table script, and add a timer named "BackglassTimer". You have to change the name of the table in the script to the name of the table you are using. And you have to change the name of the backglass image the one you are using. I wanted to get the reel to work in the slot on the backglass image Bob provided, this is where I am having problems. The numbers on the reel are not displaying right. If I just use the reel provided with he Strange World table, at the size provided, it works fine. But the digits on Bob's table are LED type, not the old style EM reel. So they do not match. I did not notice any choppiness, but I don't have a lot of time on the table yet.

Has anyone got this working?
pin.dll will not register properly and that is causing the table to not run.
It says the download is unavailable.
Try again
regards
ok. got it working now... sort of.
I am doing this on a 3 monitor setup and the backglass covers half the playfield screen and all of the backglass screen.
Thoughts?

Hello, for some reason, the "pin server" does not install well on some computers.
In its day it was a log file to fix this.
Here I leave the file, you only have to modify the directory paths.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TRGPP5UR
I hope you work
Sorry for my bad english, but i am spanish
