Update to the 1.01
Added the Noah's nudge engine (I forgot to add it to the initial release) and revised the shooterlane. Though I've never experienced the bug, I'm using now the same system JP used in his AFM's autoplunger system so I hope it doesn't happen anymore.
Hope you like it smile.gif

Thanks for update,Melon! biggrin.gif

Greetings:Petri

Thanx Melon nice work! dblthumb.gif

There is only one thing now, and I am wondering if I am right.
After you shoot jackpot, and start playing with one ball again after multiball, the caster's club is closed, only the block what should appear there for the intrance isn't coming up...

I hope you know what I mean, a little bug I think?

Thanks man. It's been a lot of effort to me to redraw some plastics and some parts of the playfield. In Cyclone or TAF I had almost all the resources needed, but in this one I had to redraw many things, and it's something I'm just learning. I'm glad you like the result smile.gif

I can appreciate the effort that melon has gone to as he has said with some of the resources i too had to do alot of redraws etc and i know some of the sources he got his stuff from. It's a pity that VP can't handle more high res stuff simply for the fact that on my version i'm modeling it and can output it at super high res and make it look awesome but unfortunately when it comes to the VP conversion alot of the quality is lost but perhaps we might have computers and a VP that can support 2048x2048+ one day.
Now if Melon would add the 2 missing plastics by the casters club it would look a bit more authentic :P..hint hint the plain blue plastic and the fat fly fisherman biggrin.gif and maybe even the bit by the reel that has the bee on it

I have played this recreation heavily and i felt the need to reiterate my appreciation. This plays very well, I have yet to create any stuck balls or strange glitches in hours of play. One minor request I want to make is regarding the 6 fish beneath the boat that track boat shots. On my setup it is hard to discern the lit form the unlit ones, perhaps these could light up a little brighter? It is a very minor issue and probably not worth your time, since most of the time I guess I end up listening for the monster fish roar anyways.

For those interested, I found a well written ft rule sheet on the net that includes some good play strategies. It looks like the author is pretty open to it being used, maybe it could make it into a future version of the table as well?

fish tales rules & strategies:

Thanks again for an excellent recreation of my favorite pinball.

Hi Melon,

your table is fantastic.

I have one small suggestion, if it possible for you to make the lights under the boat/the string of 6 little fish brighter, stronger?
The 6 lamps are to dark.

I've updated it to version 1.02. Added the drop target at the casters club.

Thanks a lot for this table! I played it a lot a few years ago, and even if the theme seems a bit boring at first, there's something that keep you playing it again and again.
Your table feels very smooth and fast, flippers settings are great and allow accurate but not too easy shots. It would have been a perfect 10/10 if there was a bit more contrast for the lights, imho.
Thanks again!

Nice one Melon, plays a treat, very much as I remembered it playing, maybe a tad easier, not that the real game was that difficult and it seems less annoying then the real deal, maybe because it doesn't have that crazy fish topper. smile.gif

I did end up adjusting the flippers a bit because I noticed this little round wall near the right flipper, which seemed out of place and not really doing anything, so I deleted it. Then when I looked at the flippers they didn't share the same Y axis and for me that just won't do so I changed that also.

Thanks for the table, very nicely done!
