Oopss! Forgot to mention the most important issue:

The center ramp is not being controlled by the ROM, so it is not accurate. For example, when getting Multiball the ramp should stay up until you get the Jackpot. Only then, you need to hit the center target to raise it between shots.
I used to do a trick when I played Jokerz regularly (like 20 years ago - yay!), in order to lock balls "for free":
You hold a ball with either flipper and before the Status Report starts showing, keep hitting constantly the other flipper. A ball search will be made, and the ramp goes up and then down again. You get 2 full seconds to lock a ball with that, without hitting the center target smile.gif
It would be nice to be able to do it on VP as well...
About the sound, I checked on VPM 1.57 with the volume controls and figured out that the missing sounds from 1.60 and up are the ones from DAC#0.
Playability and physics are perfect, well done JP!

I looked at the manual, and (paraphrazing here) try this first before reporting this as a bug:

Check option 43 in the ROM menu. If Jackpot Difficulty is set to easy, then yes the ramp should stay up during the entire multiball. If it is set to medium the ramp will stay up to begin the first Jackpot, but will drop when you make a suit. If it is set to hard, the ramp will drop when you make a suit.

Factory default is Easy for adjustment 43. The ramp is not being controlled by the ROM.

A great version of a great table - many thanks.

A quick question, is there any way to suppress the 'sound emulation is not complete' warning, like a command line switch or something? It's not that big of a deal, it just causes a loud 'bonk' noise from windows on my system each time I first start the table.

Nice table, I play it at PHOF when I go, I recently upgraded to a Radeon 5850 video card and am running windows 7, this table is very choppy for me, I have to hit the flippers ahead of time or the balls a goner.
I guess it's playing way too fast for me?

What in the script can I adjust to slow it down a notch or two please?
I took a quick look, and didn't see anything, but I haven't tried to adjust any scripts in quite a while.

Happy Holidays!

Your problem is system dependent.
I can play with it on my notebook, with ATI graphics (Hardware Rendering Off), under Win XP.
Try with older driver.

I'm still  here!

What a nice surprise JP biggrin.gif But if I play the table with HW rendering, the result is this:
Using Nvidia card with 195.62 drivers, any ideas?

Did you save the changes with hardware rendering checkmarked then restart VP?

I could have been smart, but I never learned anything by being smart!

The B-E-T lights are kind of hard to see for me as well as the ball when it is rolling around on the bottom floor above these lanes. I don't remember it being this hard to see on a real table. Is there a way to correct this.

JP, I have played your Jokerz pinball enough to say that you did an excellent job on the center ramp, and two other pinball games come to mind that you rendition of that ramp would be great on, Fire! and Monday Night Football, where both of these games have the same kind of ramps. Not soliciting, I just happen to think of those two games when I was playing Jokerz. biggrin.gif

I'm back in Oslo smile.gif I had a nice holidays with warm weather, from 18 to 21 C (usually used to be colder in Mallorca on winter). Now I'm back in Oslo, with -13C and a lot of snow. Brrrr that's cold! I'm not going out of the house until monday! smile.gif So I'll have time to finish Jokerz! and fix the small things you have reported.

Greetings and Happy New Year to all!
JP
