Same problem...over the years I have never been able to get visual pinball to work. Who the hell designs this rubbish..lol.
10's of 1000's of rubbish experts aparently
since a massive amount of people are using it, and many of them with no real computer expertise.
It's funny how I could hand code games all the way back in the Tandy TRS-80 days, have always built my own computers from scratch since Windows, I can repair a 1980 Asteroids Deluxe game PCB and rebuild the vector monitor, rebuild dirt bike and ATV motors, you name it...but can't get this hog-posh of an unorganized app to work. Could you imagine one full app that you click on the executable that includes everything that you need and not a hog-posh of a multitude of components and a multitude of versions of each that each one has to be customized to maybe 1 in a 1000 chance of all being compatible with each other and work? Yea I can...then entire real gaming industry does it and everything installs and works without hassle.
Are you using VPinballX.exe to open a vpx table?
What exe are you using and what exact table files are you trying to open
I rest my case.... a hog-posh of unorganized exe's and components that are incompatible with each other...
