Having an issue with balls getting stuck under the switch at the top right, both on the launch and when trying to complete the left loop.  Could this be a 10.6 issue?

did you change the z-scale when adjusting POV?

if so, set the z-scale back to 1

No, I'm just playing it as it came.  Didn't make any changes at all.

This table won't start for me for some reason. I've also lost my DOF? I went back to the previous Harley version and all is well. Any ideas?

I'll take a look, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with 10.6

Edit: I have checked the table and there is nothing to stop the ball there, I guess you haven't changed the ball size.

No, I didn't make any changes.  I'm wondering if maybe it's actually locking up on a script "error" that I'm not seeing because popper is keeping the playfield on top.  I put error in quotes because it's more than likely an issue with my cabinet, and not the script.  I've encountered a couple tables that give me issues on lines in the script that shouldn't be an issue at all, but those always lock up in such a way that I can tell they've locked up, and aren't just a stuck ball.

I haven't a clue, the only thing I did was to change the playfield image for a new one.

make sure you dont have vbs files floating in the table folder
and if you are not sure of the condition of the scripts in the scripts folder, you can use these

https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing

they are the updated scripts that will eventually come out with the next version of vpx, they work perfectly fine though with 10.6.0, 10.6.1 and 10.6.2

Thanks for updating JP  :Worship:  ... and: DOF works as it should here with this version; no problems at all (10 toy / bumper config).

I was able to confirm that it IS a stuck ball and not VPX locking up.  The ball's moving a bit when I nudge it, and was able to get it to tilt after a few nudges.  Hopefully this screenshot will help.  I don't know what the circled item is supposed to be, but it's not there when I launch... but if I "skill shot" the launch and try to get the ball just to the switch, that thing pops up and the ball seems to be resting on top of it.

Mmmm, there is nothing there that can stop the ball. Both the screamingeagle ramp and the side wall are non-collidable.

What you can do is to remove those two objects, the ramp2 and the wall45, so you can see clearly that zone, but there is nothing there that can pop up and block the ball.

The REnd1 trigger can be removed as it is not used anymore for the ball drop sound.

The only thing I can say is to download the table again and see if it works for you.

I'm seeing the same thing on both 3.0 and 3.01.  But yes, I'll play around with removing those objects and see if that provides any more info.

UPDATE

4.0.0 Updated 29.9.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
- Playfield and plastics adjusted by Draifet

I have just reuploaded the table with the old playfield, the one I had already fixed the misspelled city names.

I'm sorry but I can't find anything that can make the ball to get stuck there. And in my two computers, the ball never gets stuck there either. I know there is a ramp and a wall at the same height there, but they seem to work very fine together.

Sorry for my late reply, I have been a bit too busy with work. I have done the recording and doing so I realised how to get the ball to get blocked: use top power on the plunger (I use an X BOX controller with the trigger as plunger).

I cannot upload the vid as it is 4mb: any ideas how I can post it ?
