The bonus multiplier is increased by a factor of one even if the light from the upper target bank is not lit and all targets are hit.

Thank you for this table with an incomparable replay value.

The upper droptarget bank increases the bonus multiplier even when the light is off.

Something is wrong with your settings. Delete your nvram file, charlies.nv, to reset the rom to its defaults.

Thank you very much for that nice recreation.

This one is playing smooth on my not too bad laptop : (Intel® Core™ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz  8GB), wich is not the case of  many VPX table.

No problems in adding credits, as I have with many other tables.

I deleted the charlies.nv. The problem is still there. Maybe I misunderstand the rules of the table.

At first I thought that I didn't have the sound configured properly... I followed the advice of some previous posts... edited the script... enabled sound with F1.  Now I realize that maybe I was just used to a VP9 version of this table with quotes from the show added... Is that right?  The VP9 version had quotes but this one does not?  Thanks for the work on this - I have enjoyed playing it.

I didn't know a vp9 version had quotes like that, might have to try to find it - but yes, the tech at the time this was made wouldn't have had that for sure. The first game with speech, Gorgar, came out later in 1979 and only had 7 words, although it was done quite well.

Charlie's Angels isn't the most popular game in real life either but I think it's pretty fun. A legitimate criticism is that it's kinda hard to know what you're doing. It was apparently a test table, somewhat, that Gottlieb used to see what they could do with newer technology.

Table looks great but I can't get it to play.  It takes coins and makes the coin sounds,  but I can't start it after that.  It will play sounds when I press the start button but no balls come out.  It also looks like the b2s is not working.  Just a picture.  No lights, no scores or anything.  Only table I have an issue with.  If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.  Thanks.

Usually indicates a problem with the nvram?

I close VPX, delete the file, restart VPX, start the load/start the table, close the table again. load again and viola.

Also verify the ROM is working.

UPDATE

4.0.0 Updated 18.9.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
- Some small small script updates, like the Rolling sound and PlaySoundAt routines.
- Made the light inserts warmer.

As always this is a Gottlieb game, so you will need to search for the rom, as it is not in this site due to Gottlieb's copyright. The rom is called "charlies".

Thanks for the table! For what it's worth, the ROM link is bad. It's on Pinball Nirvana though. Still, it was hard to find. I had a link here but it was requested that I remove it. Instead you can do a google search with the following search criteria. That should turn it up.
"charlies site:pinballnirvana.com"

Yes, by a request of Gottlieb, all their roms were removed from most of the sites. But you still can find them on the web if you search a little :)
