Thanks. I do believe it will work and hopefully it will turn out good. So far my only concern is that the playfield that was used is actually cut off a bit on the left side, so therefore things are closer to the left edge than I believe they should be. You will notice that the left edge of the XWing that is on the playfield image has its wing partially cut off. I'm having to move the new XWing over to the right a bit which might make it be too far to the right from the ramp that it connects to. We'll see, but I still think in the end it will work. PM sent!

Here's a very early test in position 1:

And in an end position:

I have not completely traced around the object in either of the above pictures. Also, I don't think the kicker on the ramp below the XWing needs to be that low on the table. It actually should end about midpoint of the XWing model.

I spent just a little time last night on this as I was looking through some actual photos I have and I realized that the ship should be a little narrower. I did a test render in the start position and placed it on the playfield to see how things line up. I think it looks a little bit better and more proportional. I hopefully will be working on it this Saturday. I also want to try to "erase" the existing XWing from the playfield. I think I have some photos of most of that area that I will attempt to paste in.

Anyway, here's a screenshot of my test I did last night (Don't worry about that fact that some parts of the table are missing. This is just a test table):

Coming along nicely. Didnt we have a higher res playfield image that was going to be used?

Not that I know of. Subzero1970's latest wip picture is using the same playfield image as in the original release except for the upper left area there is a section he blacked out. Where did you see or hear of a higher res one?
