UPDATE

Hi JP,
I downloaded your last update.
As always your pinballs are fantastic.
I remember this one that was in a bar in my smalltown when I was 15 or so, it was one of the first wide cabinet I played and it was gorgeous to me for that reason.
I noted a strange behaviour: when the ball rolls back from the left flipper and reach the DiverterFlipper when it is set to the max angle (45degree), the ball bumps back in the flipper direction faster then it was arriving there. It's like it gains an unnatural speed in such situation.
Have you any suggestion about I can reduce that behaviour?
Thank you for your work on this pinball.
Have great days,
Massimo
Everywhere a ball rolls, there's fun!

I see what you mean. The flipper-diverter has the same properties of a normal flipper, and the ball bounces like it was made of rubber instead of metal. That happened when I loaded the new playfield/flipper physics for VPX8 and the original properties of the diverter got overwritten, as all the flippers get the new properties. I can fix that ![]()

I have this,
Apron.zip 178.52KB
3 downloads
the apron is based on scans (Space Invaders), but the shooter is not.
I know you prefer to use your own internal VP objects, but I also have apron and shooter as primitives if you want.
I'm pretty sure that with Space Invaders I had my first experiences with pinball,
but there is some possibility that it was also Future Spa, who knows it's been a long time.
Thanks for this very nice table.

Thanks kiwi! I'll add it to the table ![]()
And yes, it is true I prefer to use simple VPX objects if possible ![]()

UPDATE
5.5.3 Updated 06.05.2025- New high resolution playfield and plastics by hauntfreaks.- New metal textures.- New apron light.More cosmetic changesThis time by the hand of hauntfreaks
I also added a few more metal sounds.
Thanks JP, what a great update! That Hauntfreaks fella really knows his way around graphics, the playfield looks sharp and the colors are rich. Together with the hi-res plastics it massively improves sense of three-dimensional depth. This is really turning out to be a premium table, thank you to all involved!
