Hi Outhere,

Thanks for replying.

As is tutorial from DDH69, I donload DOF R3 from  mjrnet.org

After install it, Got copy  the files from DOF 6.24.

When run future pinball I got an error: microsoft.net framework

I did all steps from tutorial, but I'm not sure if the first install is runing fine.

It a little bit confused the "configs .ini"

Maybe I need to start installing again the dof r3. supposted missing something.

How can check if DOF R3 is working?

Thanks,

Maurilio.

Never mind my mistake - I was thinking of the old DOF........

Have the DOF working in visual pinball before you try to get Doflinx working..........

Are you running windows 10 or something else?

If something else - Are you running the latest Net framework?

After you set up the DOF config tool website - Then download the files put them in Config Folder

How can check if DOF R3 is working? Try the ---> DirectOutputConfigTester.exe

Hi Outhere !

It's not easy on 1st time..

I got the Visual pinball "godzilla" working on my Ledwiz clone.

But, just some effects is working: Flipper coils, Just one of Bumpers, Slingshots, shaker.

Any of my Leds is working.

I guess It doesn't matter, I'm really would like to get the Future Pinball DOF tables woking.

Indeed for FP, when open DOFLlinx.exe apears another issue: DOFLinx has stopped working.

Maybe some .ini files wrong ?

Could you send me your .ini files, I'm gonna read and try to put on right place.

I'm running Windows 7.

Thank you so,

Maurilio.

1st time around can be a bear but it's easier than It used to be...

I think you need to be at least 4.5 net framework for DOFLINX To work...

The tables in visual pinball may not all be set up correctly, Try a few other games in visual pinball...

As far is the InI files From DOF config tool website you need them for visual pinball but For DOFlinx it only uses them for the colors does nothing else with them...

For DOFLinx - I Use the Ini file that's name DOFLinx-Almost Everything Which is quite organized, Just rename it to DOFLinx

In the ini file If you set DEBUG=1 Then when you start DOFLinx It will bring up another window and Then you right click That window it will bring up a test menu

Each time you start DOFLinx it writes to a log Post that log if you're still having problems but make sure you clear It then restart and post the log

Hello...

I'm headache :(

The DOF is working fine on Visual Pinball.

It's fine working on DirectOutputConfigTester.exe

I had Uninstalled .net framework newer, and Get installed the .netframework 4.5.2

But when open DOFLinx.exe, I got another error message form framework:

""Could not load type 'DirectOutput.Cab.CabinetOwner' from assembly 'DirectOutput, Version=0.8.5307.1702, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

   at DOFLinx.MainForm.Start_DOF(Boolean TheDebug)""
I place the ranamed DOFLinx-Almost Everything  to DOFLinx.ini
Set a line DEBUG=1
Even start the window for debug as you said.
I also try to place the DOFLinx.ini at folders: C:\DirectOutput\Config  ,  C:\DirectOutput\Config\DOFLinx_INI
Nothing...
Where is 'DirectOutput.cab.CabinetOwner' ?

Outhere, really Thanks for helping!
Maurilio.

I have no idea what this is -> DirectOutput.cab.CabinetOwner  ..

The DOFLinx.ini file goes in the directoutput folder ...

Post the log file from DOFLinx

It is also possible That your LEDwiz clone may not work with DOFLinx

Here is my DOFLinx.ini file mine will be a little different then what yours ends up being

Spoiler

I'm going to get the log file on machine.

The config files are two?

Maybe missing something.

one about DOFLinx, and has one about cabinet.xml or directoutput.ini ?

The Ledwiz clone runs perfectly, even on original programs from Ledwiz website.

I thing is something wrong between DOFLinx and DOF output assings.

Come back in few minutes...

Wrong version of DOF.  You need DOF R3++.  I suspect you have DOF R2.  The "Cabinet" turned up in the first R3 release, but go to R3++

Essentially DOFLinx is failing to find a key component in the DOF.

Good morning DDH69 !

Thank you for the help.

I did:

1. download and copy to C:\DirectOutput the DOF update from http://mjrnet.org/pi...html#installDOF

2. download and replace in all folders the ledwiz.dll from the same website

3. Try run run, got the error. Then copy the Doflinx v6.23.  try it, got the error. The same way with DOFLinx v6.24 and v6.26

4. Finaly, I Put the windows 7 in "Test mode build 7601"

5. Also try to install .net framework 3.5, but I can't. It's runing 4.5.2

Nothing is gonna sane this problem.

Maybe missing something little,... I'm blind on it! :(.

Please, help me.

Thank your all for helping!

Maurilio.

Do you have more than one copy of DLLs and / or DOF ?

You only want the DOF installed once...
Take and delete the Plugins folder and everything inside of it...

Then re-install in this directory C:\DirectOutput

And that should re-Register the DOF and make a new plugins folder

1.Uninstall everything and delete DirectOutput folders.

2.Try to Install DOF DOF R3++ Windows Setup Installer (MSI) (23 Mar 2018), and got the error message:

"DirectOutput setup wizard ended prematurely"

Should I need to install by the manual mode? or this is a problem may causing not working DOFLinx?

And.. I did! manual install...

Great, :) :) :) I got no errors and it working partialy, when future pinball loaded and run the table (jaws).

The Debug window is working and show device found, got a lot of errors (due my DOFLinx.ini) becouse I have no RGB leds installed.

But I am very happy for get some output working!

And, Here I go again, going to create a restore point, and try to learn how to configure it...

Thank you guys " Outhere and DDH69", for the amazing help!

Maurilio.
