table runs great but flippers dont fire. I upgraded to todays dofconfig. 

 

Same here. Great table, thank you but my flipper solenoids don't fire. Bumpers and jets work just fine but no flippers.

 

Any ideas??? 

 

 

I can confirm the flippers do not activate DOF contactors. Went back to congo v1.1 and same problem persists. @arngrim has anything changed in recent dofconfig?

the table changed, not the dof config, here is the fix

DOFTargets variable was added in the newer versions of controller.vbs which came with VPX 10.2 released last week

 

Since you say you have the latest VPX version, then you forgot to update the VBS scripts including controller.vbs or you have old copy and new copy of controller.vbs in your table or scripts folder.  Delete the old one

Thanks for helping and pointing it out. I did oversee the .vbs that was hiding in the tables folder.

I'm not following this at all. What exactly do I need to change in the script to make the flippers DOF work? I'll try just copying this into the script....

Find the bits in the script that line up with what arngrim posted and replace them with his version.

Just open the Script and paste the modified code at the BOTTOM of the script.  The newer subroutines will be used (over-riding the original subroutines)

So I did what you said (put at the bottom) and the flippers work but now my left flipper is automatically flipping by itself.  Very strange.

I checked and it's not.  I looked at other websites and there is one with the same problem but no good answer for latest.  My question is if people with DOF got this latest version working without left flipper going crazy

I just had a run through it and DOF yes, no crazy left flipper firing.   I did notice however when doing the grey battle and the pin pops up to hold the ball on the playfield that a solenoid clicks repeatedly while the pin is up and stops when the pin drops after the grey battle.

Could be a similar issue to your left flipper firing I suppose.
