Doesn't work for me, I have still the grill displaying on my backglass.

I can go in the B2S settings and set Grill to Hidden, but as the table doesn't use VPM I can't do a table reset by the F3 key to apply the changes.

Or maybe I'm missing something or doing it wrong ??

Thank you anyway Outhere ;)

Thank you for this table :)

I have an issue with the music though... I don't have any! The music folder is in my VP folder and the mp3 files for AMH are in there but I hear no music.

I have sound effects (speech etc) working fine (I even got UltraDMD working after a bit of a battle) but no music.

Any suggestions please?

Can anyone help with my 'no music' issue please?

Click on save settings after put hidden in grill.
Restart needs only close and open again table... Close and restart is like push F3 (and you couldn't use it seen table works with ultradmd and not VPM)

I'm having error of UltraDMD not found .... and the funny thing is that I had this table running before. No, is not this version, I'm talking about the table that was working now it isn't. I bet Microshit and one of his update (Windows 10 here) fk something up. Ughhh I have this workiiiinnnggggg... Now another thing to fix. Ugh. The list of things to fix is getting larger and larger.

I can open UltraDMD and it opens up without error. I can run the registration fine without error. But when I run any UltraDMD table ... it comes up with the error that UltraDMD not found. Ughh.

I will re-register .net again. Forgot what was the command ... something like this aspnet_regiis.exe /ir meh I'll look up around the net later

Vamp, did you get this resolved? I was having the same issue until I re-registered UltraDMD with the second method, mentioned by fren, and not the first. I believe that the VPX installer uses the first method of registering and that does not work on some machines.

Also I'm having an issue with the FPS dropping to single digits when UltraDMD is showing activity/animations on the display. It's only when Ultradmd is showing animations. When it is showing the score everything is butter smooth. I've been having this issue for some time now since mid VPX beta. It used to work just fine when this table first came out in WIP. So not sure whats up. I re-downloaded the GIF files and made sure they were unblocked. I don't have any other UltraDMD tables to test (if there are any).

Any ideas would be great. It's a fantastic table and would love to get back into again.

Everything is working fine for me except the music.  I downloaded all the music and placed it in the appropriate file, but when I hit the start button,  I get a message that says:

BASS music/sound library initialization error 23

Followed by a message that says:

BASS music/sound library cannot load C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual Pinball\Music\bgout_M2.mp3

Any suggestions?

Jim

why people still install visual pinball in programs files is beyond my understanding....

I bet that is your problem.... IF you re doing all the instructions right.

I did both of them, even used the second method the first time (when it was working) .... but to be honest I havent test it or had time to keep finding a solution. I have used the setup in others cabs of friends and its a nice piece of work, super easy noob friendly. Too easy for me lol, but I will see if I can manage to solve it one day.

One day....

The Visual Pinball Installation Guide tells you to put there

That's where I put it two years ago and it's been working good sense

Every program, well, lets put it 99% of setup programs always "tell" you to install it there, but that isn't mandatory. It's because people just click ok all the way without reading or modifying.

Anyways, glad your installation is ok :) but VP in program files is a no-no for me.

I'm all set.  My issue pertained to the default audio settings in VP 10.  Quick fix.

Finally have it working 100%.  What a fantastic table.

A couple quick questions:

Can the DMD size be adjusted beyond the standard settings?  Can it be "stretched" like traditional DMDs, or do you have to go with one of the presets?

Can someone tell me what script changes are necessary to take it out of "free play" mode?  Tried a couple changes, but they didn't seem to take.

Thanks again for a fantastic table!

Thanks much!

Anyone know how to switch the table out of "free play" mode?  I noted there's a "freeplay" option in the script that can be adjusted, but when I changed it (I believe "0" and "1" are the two options), it remained in free play mode.  Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong line of the script?

Jim
