This is one of my more favorite multilevel games due to it being challenging and you don't last too long on one ball. :D

I could have been smart, but I never learned anything by being smart!

It's alive !!!!

Table is fully playable and it's A LOT OF FUN !!!!

But there are thousands of things missing. First of all I have to add some plastics, then I have to add the night mode, and much more stuff...

But even the table is more or less a naked skeleton, this one gives a lot of fun. If everything goes well, testing can start within the next week. And hopefully it can be released right prior to the holidays.

I am not surprised, it's a fun table In real life with quite a bit of originality considering the era it was made. Thanks again for working on this

Folks, I'm very sorry to inform you that Vector won't get ready for release until Christmas.

The reason is that I have to go to the hospital on Thursday and I'll stay there for a while. It's nothing serious, but it has to be done, and better now than later.

I've updated the picture of the first post with the current status, and you can see that more or less 90% is done. And I'm pretty sure that when I'm back home, it doesn't take long to have the table ready for release. Once more Sorry, I know that some of you are waiting for this release.

Hi folks!

I'm still in the hospital, but I was allowed to visit my home and stay there until tomorrow morning. The operation went well, but my fingers are very, very SSSLLLLLOOOOWWWW. So I was able to work on Vector today again, I've updated the picture of the first post with the current status. Presently I have no idea when the table can be released. It depends on how fast I'm allowed to leave the hospital.

Take your time good sir, priority #1 is your health!

To all who are interested in this release: great things come to those who are patient. If you are a fan of Sindbad's tables, rest assured the attention to detail is top notch, it's coming along very well and will be a superb release when it's ready.

Project is continued ...

I'm back home after my 9 weeks stay at the hospital. Thanks to the VP dev team, who released a beta version of VP10 during my hospital stay. After coming home, I converted the Vector WIP to VP10 and the result is amazing (see picture of first post). Because the VP9.9 version was more or less 99% complete, it now doesn't take long until we can release the table as a VP10 version. Beta test will start immediately after some final fixes (hopefully tomorrow).

I'm very sorry for the delay, but real live and health are always first.

Glad you have returned Sindbad. Your incredible work has inspired me to do more to give back to the community. I finished my first complete redraw (Mars Trek) a few weeks ago and now I've jumped headfirst into a complete redraw of JPsalas' "Blackout."

I've had a good drawing tablet for a few years and it mostly just sat here collecting dust, but it is getting a daily workout now! It's amazing how I can start working and look up and 4 or 5 hour has zipped by. It's a lot of hours for sure.

Looking forward to your recent works!

Hmmm... Can't release building tables... Dark and Randr motivated me to finish Vector, even it would take more time than before my illness. I also got a lot of PMs where you asked me to finish Vector, so I'll release Vector as my last build in a few weeks. Give me time, I'm working as fast as my fingers allow it.

Randr made some 3D kickers, they really look fantastic! There are still a lot of things to do on the table, but the basic table is playable and looks in this state already acceptable. Presently I'm working on the illumination - I want it perfect, and it's more or less a try-and-retry-and-retry to find out what looks best. Physics are good in my opinion, but there are a lot of cosmetic things that need to be done. I'll do my best to be quick, but it takes some weeks.

In case there's anybody else working on Vector, please let me know, we don't need to work on two different tables.

Very happy to hear that you continue your work on this table. But, take care of your health first and foremost. When you get tired, take a break.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

32assassin did do a version of Vector for VPX.  Was the Vector that Sindbad was working on for VP9?

The version 32a was working on was sindbads wip which he was mistaken in thinking it was open for mod, while sindbad does gracefully allow blanket permission to mod, he has expressed that this does not extend to his wips.

Good news: Project made a big step forward! Another author, who was already working on Vector, contacted me and asked for permission to use the resources that I used on my WIP. Because I was still working on Vector, we had two different versions, both very well advanced. So we used the best from each version for a new version, and the result looks pretty good. If everything goes well, table can be released in a week or two.
