Okay am I missing something here. this looks just like the pinball database images of Playboy and not even remotely like Sexy Girl.  Maybe the rubber color of the flippers but that's it.

Well that seems to be the case. Not sure if it was a combination of the black flippers and the darker pink plastics that threw him. Not sure now. I remember thinking it didn't look right when he said it but again I think because the colouring of the plastics. I think on his machine they may have faded and are pretty much the same colour as the table.

I did also notice however that the word "Playboy"has a bunny for the 'o' on the vp version where-as the original does not. Nice touch though.

Thanks for the update.

The Extra Ball still doesn't work though... neither the playfield light nor the ball count.

I 100% had this working (extra ball) I know because I was chatting with Randr while testing the other day. Are you sure it's not disabled via the f6 menu?

I'm not sure... which DIP switches do you have set?

I use the DIP switch menu from the earlier table version and that one doesn't have an obvious option to enable/disable extra balls... but I'm also sure that I don't get the extra ball after rolling over the switch when the arrow is lit. The chime sounds but the extra ball light next to the flippers is not illuminated and after the ball drains, the ball counter increases with the next ball.

Can you try the 1.1 release with no script modifications and delete the playboyb.nv file in the vpinmame\nvram folder?  1.0 was broken, but I confirmed that 1.1 was working without any f6 dip switch changes.

Thanks... deleting the nvram did the trick.

Loafer, the only thing I can think is that if you had played a different release of Playboy in the past, then the nvram was set up for Extra ball feature. Then this 1.0 release would have worked for you. I was working on a new laptop install with no previous install of playboy so I had same issue as htamas with 1.0.

Ok cool but does that not indicate the issue was with the config of the nvram rather than the table? Anyway good that it looks like 1.1 with a new nvram has resolved this. Such a wonderful table ! I find the speed of the ball is perfect for what the real table played like

Mmm.. not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

V1.1 and deleting the nvram did not do the trick for the extra ball issue.

BTW, the tint filter was a great idea, well done!

Okay....  These dip switch settings always confuse me.  I think I figured it out.  You have go into the F6 menu, and if you are playing the FS VP9 version, check DIP 15.  If you are playing the other versions, physmod or desktop, where I included Inkochnito's menu, then set the "High Score Feature" to Extra Ball.

In the FS1.1 release, I forgot to include Inkochnito's F6 menu, so if you want to add it, just copy this text into the bottom of the script

'Bally Playboy

Sub editDips
Dim vpmDips : Set vpmDips = New cvpmDips

Lastly, if for some reason, that does still not work :)   Here is a copy of my playboyb.nv file.  Download it and put it in the vpinmame\nvram folder.
