Found it - just add a file called vpexetables.txt with the name of the table and the different exe in the next line in HyperPin/Settings/. With FPLauch 1.295WIP10 it automatically takes the right exe for the specific table. Do not forget to add the same table name to "Visual Pinball.xml"!

Dozer316 - I didn't see your posting first... ;)

I was about to ask the same thing, so thanks for that!

One thing, is that file basically an override?

So you only specify tables you don't want to run via the standard exe, or do you have to specify every table and every exe?

Looking forward to trying this out!

Don't wanna spoil the fun, but is it really wise to release these table(s) based upon an alpha version of VP?

I personally have nothing against it, but i wonder about the confusion for people who don't know about the various versions.. Would it be hard to have a VP9.9.0 version of this table, too?

I think as it's a fullscreen table mod only - therefore only for cab owners - and different exe's are possible with HyperPin and PinballX it's totally acceptable to release it. At least beta versions from other authors for VP9.9 are released, too. It's ok for me! :)

Wow--just downloaded this table. Never played it before, but it sure is fun. This is also my first taste of Physmod as well. I was quite surprised about the spin on the ball! Gameplay is fantastic. Lighting is awesome. Sounds and music--awesome. Can't say enough except  Thank You !

When you create that vpexetables.txt, does it go into the Hyperpin Settings folder?---or the settings config folder that's inside the Settings folder? Thanks

@ClarkKent

The FireButton At plunger and you can only use one per game, see when you launch the missile will activate multiball.

The table runs VP_PHYSMOD5 the VisibleLock not work like real table. if anyone can solve this problem .. you feel free to modify the table.

does anybody have a clue on how to fix this? anyone? grandmaster uw? :)

yet no one who asked for help could solve this problem.

as I said in another post, the Lock must capture 2 balls, and release when the multiball is active.

Cheers, Javier..

Please, if you can help me with a small contribution to update my work team and continue to make more tables I will be eternally grateful.

Man, this is unbelievable! If this table is a foretaste of what is to come in VP10 - glory days are coming!

And this table is the trigger for me to ask: How can I use a different VP.exe for specific physmod-tables in HyperPin? I absolutely want to do that now! :)

In the settings sub directory of Hyperpin create a file named vpexetables.txt

In that file include the table name (without the extension and then directly below the table name the exe that you want to use.)

i.e.

Silver (Gottlieb 1957)
VPinball990a.exe

Dozer.

I run multiple exe's with hyperPIN with this method flawlessly, physmod5 is giving me issues though, it will load the table then pop back to hyperpin menu with the backglass still going, and the table behind hyperpin.  Exit hyperpin and the table is sitting there ready to play.  Not sure why.

@Fren: Yes the table is angle dependant for the lighting, but if you really wanted to adjust lay back you could always remove the extra flashers, pretty much all of them have been assigned to layers 7 and 8, 7 for playfield light glows, and 8 for highlights and reflections.  I was considering doing this also just to have a version without extra lighting so it could be converted for desktop or even just for use on low end hardware but I've just been too busy with other things.

It's interesting. On my system different exe's via HyperPin are working perfectly. What you are describing only happened once and not anymore since then...

Thanks, I looked at that a bit, I think with some adjusting I can line it all back up if I do adjust it. Turning them off just isn't an option. I can accept the layback when it looks this sweet.

Love the wire ramp sound, it has just the perfect frequency to vibrate the bass shakers.
You can feel the ball rolling on it!

It would be next to impossible fren to line everything up perfect the way the lighting is done on this table, some of the textures would need to be re-worked. Don't get me wrong as it looks awesome by no means am I knocking the work, but dosnt lend it's self for the user to make adjustments to there needs. It's unfortunate too, as I was really looking foreword to this release when I first saw the screen shots. Why not an official 9.9.0 release?

Those two points aside you guys did a really nice job on this table. The models are top notch and the table is built fantastic. Hopefully with permission someone will make an official 9.9.0 release in FS and WS with the adjustments for the lighting so the user can set their own layback settings etc.

@ICP: if you consult the permission to mod thread, Javier allows for free modding of all his tables without permission.
