with my current Nvidia settings, the flippers look very strange (dark green).  Back to the drawing board for my VP settings I guess, dam as flippers were looking so smooth with my current settings.

Can you elaborate a little bit on that? :)

Are you referring to THIS? if so it is due to a VP bug (from 886?) that is fixed in rev889.

I have a new pc setup with Win7. I got everything set up and running decent. I need to upgrade my video card apparently as I had to turn everything off in VP to make it work. I have a strange problem with this table though and not sure if its related to the video card.. There are images on the playfield that shouldn't be there.. Any ideas? Game plays fine, but these images tend to make it difficult to  play.

Sorry about that...

I'm using a 2 monitor setup. Toshiba 39" running in 1920x1080 and a 20" lcd for backglass running at 1280x1024

PC:

AMD A8 processor

ASUS MB A88X

8gb DDR3 1866

AMD Radeon HD 7560D Onboard Video Running in Turbo mode (2gb max) - AMD Driver 13.101.0.0

VP:

Ver 9.2

Vpinmame Ver -3.0 rev 827.

I ran the GPU boost software from ASUS. I know I can overclock the heck out of the pc, but I haven't done much there yet.

I just ordered a new GTX660 video card, so should have in a few days.

The GTX 660 will wipe the floor with the onboard HD 7560D, so once you have that, it should work great.

Make sure you have updated to v1.2 as I forgot a small bit of scripting in the previous versions which updates the soccer ball primitive. Other than that, I wish I could add some sort of motion blur, but am unsure on how I might achieve that at this time.

I just installed my GTX660. Its currently running my playfield screen, and the onboard AMD is running the 2nd monitor. I have the same issue. I tried messing with the VP settings, I was able to turn up the alpha ramps, tried messing with the other settings, and still nothing. I did the Nvidia update, and am running driver ver. 332.21. I deleted the cfg file in pinmame as well.. Think I'm going to try deleting the table and restarting from scratch.
