the idol is invisible for me rev 628.

anyone else have this problem?

Yes, mine is there but tiny. I'm running ver 9.15 so maybe that's why. I'm trying to figure out where 9.16 is...

Okay, I'm running 9.16 rev 628 and the Idolhead is tiny. Everything else seems to be fine (looks friggin' awesome too! great job!).

here's what mine looks like

Unfortunately I have no idea about the tiny-idol problem. It sure does look weird...

The good news is that there are couple of fixes already for the upcoming version (probably beginning of next week). Few graphical glitches have been fixed (for example the "ball seen through POA") and one B2B problem that caused missing collision sounds (reported by jimmyfingers with insturctions how-to-fix. Thanks!) has also been fixed. Also the nightmod version is almost complete. So I'm looking to release the NM and the update to this day version during next week.

I had this problem right after replacing table (can confirm issue exists), but then I did some general tweaking with old computer I am preparing as my soon-to-be-very-budget-cabinet and problem disappeared and idol is normal size now.

Running 550ti, not sure it's not somehow system related - with other improvements I replaced vista with xp.

Looks like something due to the loading of the table, the idol is small even in the editor.
With the latest revisions 628...636 the problem is not present.

Thanks so much for this fantastic table.

Okay, maybe this was me being a noob because if I don't use the same name as my last IJ table the idol is there. I had just renamed it the same as my last IJ so all the Hyperpin stuff would work, but apparently this caused the problem.

Very noobish question:  what is the key difference between a regular table and a "Night Mod"

Did you try the table with or without renaming it?

My Idol is fixed.

My problem was renaming this new table the same as the old one. I just named this one "ij2" and then renamed all my Hyperpin associated files.

Just to be sure I kept the downloaded file name the same, opened in VP then "saved the table as" IJ2.

What a GREAT table it is ! Thanks to all who have contributed, we LOVE your effort.

I have a complete IJ pinball addiction going on, and i must say i can't wait for the Nightmod,

the current version is bright ! (@DrEvil, ie the Nightmod table is darker).

Btw, no probs with the idol.... VP9.16 628 @ GTX 660

Here's the latest screenshot for the nightmod.

I personally prefer nighmod's in my cab so that's why I wanted to spend some extra time with this one... should be ready after the weekend :)

Very noobish question:  what is the key difference between a regular table and a "Night Mod"

To answer this: a NightMod is a variant of VP tables which is much darker in general and the light effects are stronger. So it looks like a real machine during night without additional light sources. Just compare screenshots of normal table and NM and you'll see...

Have you tried to redownload the file?
I had to download it 3 times for problems with corrupted files.
