I will do my best until the next update to find a solution. Since such an error happens very rarely it's difficult to eliminate these.
One solution can be to set the "TimerBAC" to a lower level. i.e. 10 or 5 ms.

Hi Servus,

Perhaps you can just allow the 'c' key to reset the ball-in-play count mid-game. That way if it does happen, you don't have to exit to get going again.

I have a question back: How should Hyperpin be configured to be able to start a B2S automatically.
I thought that a B2S file must be started separately in case of using it via Hyperpin.

I don't use Hyperpin for the moment. But I'm willing to test it.

Servus Walter

Starman, you edit the script and set the B2S launch to False if you are using Blur's Modified FPLaunch, since the script will start the background up automatically.

First of all, thanks for a great table.

I'm having some trouble launching the backglass from within hyperpin.

I've changed the script line from true to false, but the backglass still won't launch.

The backglass launches fine if I run the table via visual pinball.

I've also tried renaming the B2S.exe file to match the table name, because I read somewhere
the names should match if using hyperpin to launch.

Not having any problems with any other B2S tables

Any ideas?

I can't get the B2S to load properly in HP on this one, even though i have it set to false. Weird. I see the BG, but it doesn't update.

Anyone else have that issue?

Maceman

ps. Looks and plays awesome in VP!!

My backglass still messes up on this table as well, even after upgrading to the latest release and setting load to false.
The score reels work perfectly and the table plays great, but the pictures on the backglass are still doubled.
Maybe the my B2S file needs to be updated. I did not use the one in the download because I did not read anywhere that it had been changed.
I just used my original B2S file that works with all of Rosve's tables.

I'm using the B2S script from 10-3-2011 and this table runs fine in Hyperpin.
I am able to see the full backglass with the blinking dinosaurs. AWESOME release.
I have my backglass screen set to 1280x1024. Hope this helps.

Since this is my first solo B2S try, I'm not quite sure if there is anything else to note in fact of using it via Hyperpin.
I followed strictly rosve's tutorial. Maybe he has an answer.

BTW: Good news for those who want a desktop version.
4BMC is now also available as WS version ---> HERE

The name of the VPT file and the EXE file must be exactly the same for it to launch correctly from HP.
Rename 4MBC.EXE to 4MBC_FS_B2S_V1.0.1.EXE

This backglass should work with any B2S.VBS file. There are really only two versions of it. Never overwrite it with a file that is older.
I just tested with Starman's updated backglass and everything looks OK.
Make sure that it really is the latest BG file that you use.

Thanx Roger. I'll give that a try...I keep forgetting about that rule of naming, and got caught before, even on my own table smile.gif

Ok, so i redownloaded the files, renamed the exe to match the vpt.

Here is what happens, and i should mention that my Haunted Mansion B2S is working as set to false. I mention only as a comparison.

So in this table, when set to default (True), i can see BG in HP, but when i exit the table, B2S is still running until i bring up HP menu and then go back in, and then it resets.

If i set to false and try in HP, BG does not load, just BG pic (score of 32700), not the B2S.

Just thought i'd mention this if anyone else is having an issue. I can live with it set to True and the extra exiting step, but something is not correct.

cheers,
Maceman

ps. Starman, this is a beautiful table, very excellent work!

Maybe all the dots in the file name is confusing the Launcher. Try with a simplier file name without dots and spaces(both files).

Hi Roger,

Unfortunately, that didn't work either. Maybe it is something with the newest FPlaunch version, however, the other games are working so i am not sure....

Anyways, I will continue to troubleshoot and if i get anywhere i will update this thread.

Thanx for all your help!!

Maceman

Another great pin from the starman .Any chance of getting this as a 4:3 desktop pin . I'm 59 years old and the eyes aren't as good as when I was younger . If not , could you tell me how to make adjustments to the pin , to get to 4:3 desktop . Thank you in advance and have a Happy Thanksgiving day.
