Thanks gents!
Got a bit more done today. Mounted the fans, contactors for feedback and some more wire looming.

Hoping to get my distribution boards done tomorrow and get to the final stages of fit off and test by the end of the week.

WOW! That is simply the coolest custom cab artwork I have seen thus far. BBP is great, but this just looks bad a$$. I think it would be hard to find any commercial production that looks this good.
Looking forward to seeing it completely done. Thanks for posting.

That art work looks fantastic! I really like the matrix-like shade of green.
PinScreenGen - Automatically Create Playfield Images, Backglass Images and XML for Hyperpin (Future Pinball and Visual Pinball)
PinJukeLaunch - Moves DWJukeBox to Backglass (2nd or 3rd monitor) and can change wallpaper on launch
PinHyperMatrix - Generates HTML report of missing Hyperpin Media, UVPs, B2Ss, etc.

Nice job with the artwork and the interior layout looks nice and clean.
Don't pm or expect an answer from me here ... the links above are my contacts.
I know so much about so little that I could teach you all there is to know about nothing......

Thanks for the compliments gents.
I did the art myself bladex and got them to print it as I said earlier in my thread using an image from an artist I liked.
Scott is a bit hard to get hold of but he is also a very busy man. Thought you were getting yours airbrushed anyway?
Anyhoo, will post some more pics and hopefully vid tomorrow I hope as I got a heap done today. Only waiting for custom lock down bar and leaf switches from Virtuapin that I ordered last week. Going to take a little while due to being a custom size but I am happy to as it will give me time to install all the lights in the side. Otherwise I would be just too busy playing!

Finished the majority of my wiring. Put a LED strip with a microswitch to the door so I dont have to break out the torch every time someone wants to looking inside or, god forbid, have to change a fuse due a fault.

Under side of the cab with one button for PC which in turn controls everything as I described in the electrical guide, volume knob (Do you think I could get that bloody thing centred in the hole! glad its underneath) and a Lian Li USB front port.

Got one of the side panels done with my LEDs for highlights under the sideart. Used acrylic dowel and clear resin.

Quick test.

Then install the sideart.

The LED's I used are Cree brand so they are super bright. Really happy how it turned out but still have the larger LEDs to go for the centre and two side highlights. Other side to do then tinker with some Arduino code to make the pretty lights dance for me.

LED strip in cab door

It's like a fridge - light comes on when you open the door. That's a handy place to stash beer for in-game thirst emergencies!

Lol. hmmmm a fridge inside the pinball cab. Could use the evaporator part of the heat pump on the cpu aswell as the fridge...
Sounds like an idea Darkfall *please insert evil scientist laugh here*
Going to get a drink hold for the leg though. Not having my beer spill when I am doing my best to tilt the machine.

just noticed your tv doesnt quite fill the width of the cab mine doesn't either how are you going to fix this with an apron?
My monitor fills the full width of the cab unless your refering to the touchscreen bezel bladex.

Here a pic of mine bladex

As my monitor is a touchscreen it has glass that is larger than the monitor itself because it needs room to be able to fit the touchscreen sensors. Dont think I will be using an apron as I would have to install it on top of the touchscreen glass.
Didn't you decase your monitor and measure it to get your cabinet made to suit? You might have made a bit of a green horn error there by the looks of it.
Pop the question about apron on your thread to get some feedback on what to do.
