Maybe its just some settings i have wrong, but they have a few artifacts of some parts of the ramp, but compared to other table they dont look as good.....

I like melons transpartant ramps on his cyclon table

Thanks for the table reference. I'll take a look at what the difference is and see if things can be improved. Stay tuned...

Any chance of re-doing the transpartent ramps, they look a bit funky on the 4:3 version

I don't think they can be re-done much differently. What 4:3 table that has transparent ramps are you comparing it to? I'll take a look that the table you name and see how that author did theirs.

Well this is what i finished up with for my pin cab....i left the wire ramps as is...it works fine......

I just changed the tie fighter m insert color..on the table i have in my basement they are blue and i also changed the stand up colors to yellow

Do you have the real table then pakitt1??, any chance of taking pics of the plastics and toys, so wtiger might be able to update these if he has time in the future???

lettuce,
I took a look at Melon's Cyclone transparency image and the difference is Subzero1970 is using 50% gray versus Melon's 62% gray. Download the following .bmp image and replace the TransFull image (Reimport From) with it and see if it looks better for you and let me know.

I think if you took picks from above? (someone chime in here) of all the plastics, and the toys, im not sure if for the FS version if the X-Wing could work if you took 6-8 shots of it as different points. wtigers probably the est to answer this question, but defo pics of the plastics, and other toys, would be great.

All that seems to do is just make them a tad bit dark tiger, they still have those werid artifacts around some parts of the ramp....

Does noone else get those on there table??, it might be ok on the FS version however!?

All it did for me too was like you said, a bit darker. Take a look at the two images below. Melon's ramp is in the middle with his 62% transparency, Subzero's original 50% transparency on the right, and on the far left is the same ramp but with Melon's 62%. The top image is at the regular default VP view and the second image is using the settings from Melon's FS. I don't really see much difference. Maybe it has something to do with your system and graphic card?? I've also included a ZIP of the test table.

One other difference is Melon uses a wall height of 50 versus 30. Here's just the right ramp done Melon's way (wall height of 50 and left/right top edges).

behind the backglass is 1 fluorescent tube horizontally positioned
that just lights up the screen.
Theres no flashing. Thats the way it is.
