thanks for the quick response!!! I got through that and now I'm stuck between 11 & 12. When I start Medievil Madness a script error pops up "Line 143. Object doesn't spport this property or method: 'table1.maxballspeed'" The DMD appears and I can move it to the other monitor but I can't resize it as the directions say. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help. My computer knowledge is average at best, but I love pinball and I can't wait to get my cabinet up and running!!!

Hi!

Don't know why you get the message upon startup (not at home to test it), but in order to resize the DMD just right click on the DMD window and select "show border". Now it can be resized! When in place, restart the table and the position should be the same but now without the border. wink.gif
(IF you have installed the the cab version of the pinmame.dll)

cheers!

Thanks G
I tried stating MM again and the error was no longer present and I was able to resize the DMD !!! However now I'm stuck on line 15. This is where it gets confusing for me again. I go to the the page as instructed, but it won't let me type in any info. I'm using Windows Vista. Don't know if that makes any difference or not. Anyone ?

15. Edit 'Visual Pinball.xml' in C:\Pinball\HyperPin\Databases\Visual Pinball\ and add:

<game name="MM_VP9_1.0_FS">
<description>Medieval Madness (Williams 1997)</description>
<manufacturer>Williams</manufacturer>

Be careful, the game has to be exactly the same name as you VP board, I mean if your medieval madness table is called Medieval_Madness_1.1.vpt so the game name in you xml file has to be "Medieval_Madness_1.1".
the entry in description has to match your blackglass, table image and uvp file name (without the extension of course)

ok nevermind, I made it through step 16 and now I'm at 22. I can see this is going to be trouble already. Can someone break it down for me and tell me exactly where to go to find each of the changes I need to make. Thanks

Hi,

UltraVP server is here:

http://www.vpforums....u...l&f_id=2646

if you followed the tutorial the table names that you have to change are:

C:\pinball\visualpinball\tables\"yourtable".vpt
the backglass (.png) and the ultravpserver file (.uvp) that you get on vpforums. (medieval madness uvp iles I guess)
The uvp file then go to C:\pinball\hyperpin\ultravp (if i remember)
the png go to c:\pinball\hyperpin\media\visuapinball\backglasses

bye

I feel like I am so close!!! On the final step (23) "start visual pinball and right click on the DMD -> show border to adjust DMD on the second monitor" I start Visual pinball load Medieval Madness (williams 1997).vpt than I press play. These mesages pop up "VBScript can't load Vpinmame Active X component can't creat object" i hit ok, than it says "Vpinmame ver 01550000 required" i hit ok, than it says "line 58 object required controller".

Also I tried to start MM in Hyperpin and it said "cannot find c:pinball\visual pinball\vpinball.exe"

I went back and double checked all the steps and I thought I did everything right. What would cause these error messages ?

Once again, thanks everyone for all your help!!!

Anyone?

So i got Medieval Madness working fine outside of Hyperpin now, but when I try and run it through Hyperpin it still says Cannot find C: Pinball/Visual Pinball/VPinball.exe
I have been all over the forums and have checked and double checked everything, I can't seem to find a solution for this. It's probably something really stupid.
