Someone has done a Hendrix table, can't remember who right now.
"Compassion hurts. When you feel connected to everything, you also feel responsible for everything. And you cannot turn away. Your destiny is bound with the destinies of others. You must either learn to carry the Universe or be crushed by it. You must grow strong enough to love the world, yet empty enough to sit down at the same table with its worst horrors." - Andrew Boyd

There are a few fictional rock tables. Rock, Rock Encore, Al's Garage Band Goes on a World Tour, Punky Willy. Someone also did an original VP Halford table, can't find it anywhere, but wish I could again. It was a bitchin' table. Oh yeah, also Williams's SuperStar, Rocky Girl (not a Williams), Doozie (?), an AC/DC original table for VP. Tables with Rock music: Twilight Zone-Twilight Zone by Golden Earring, High Speed II: the Getaway-La Grange by ZZTop, Back to the Future with music by Huey Lewis and the News, Dakar has a synthesized opening of Jump by Van Halen, CFTBL has 50's rock music. Anything I left out? I know that Black Fever has Disco music in it, does that count or no? Dale Jr. has Can't Drive 55 by Sammy Hagar, but not the ORIGINAL music, the VP version does have it, thanks to Destruk. F-14 Tomcat does have original rock style music. I think I'll quit now, enough rambling.

What? No 'Spinal Tap' pin? I'm shocked! or no 'rock school' pin based on the movie (with Jack Black) of the same name.

There is a conversion of Williams' 1979 'Gorgar' (one of my all time favs) by Christophe Vermylen. Artwork also by Christophe Vermylen
Iron Maiden / IPD No. 5190 / February, 2005
http://www.ipdb.org/...ine.cgi?id=5190
and another which is a conversion of Williams' 1987 'F-14 Tomcat'...
Iron Maiden II / IPD No. 5557 / August, 2009
http://www.ipdb.org/...ine.cgi?id=5557
Just a quick note about Queens pop stuff mentioned earlier in the thread...
John Deacon wrote Another One Bites The Dust (Their biggest hit), not Freddy.
I second the motion for somebody to build the VP community a 'Queen' machine.
I'll get off my soapbox now

Twisted Sister would be cool. I think that there is a Van Halen original VP table too.
I made a Beastie Boys themed VP table and a Rob Zombie themed VP table but never released them. Both still need lots of work. I have a Heavy Metal the Movie themed VP table in the works but don't have much time to build original tables anymore. I mostly just play tables now. I think Sphere's tables have some good music from Rock Band's in them.

if you don't have the time you could toss me that 'Heavy Metal' the Movie, table and let me run with it so to speak! I loved both movies (though the first one was better I think) and would like to help you see your vision(s) come to life. I only build originals and I only have one wip at the moment...maybe that rob zombie one too...(wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

Thanks for the offer to help out Faralos, but I think that I would like to save them for a rainy day to finish or if I ever decide to start building original tables again. Who knows? I'll just hang on to them for now.
Hi Tomcat Leader
Pangier is the Author of the Rob Halford VP table. I have the table Halford 7.0 and it's pretty good. BTW I think he is a member here, maybe if you send him a PM, he may send you a copy.

There is an actual machine based on the 1981 movie "Heavy Metal", check it out here>>>
Heavy Metal
Manufacturer: Rowamet Indústria Eletrometalúrgica LTDA, of São Paulo, Brazil (1980-1983)
The playfield layout is similar to Williams' 1980 'Blackout'
http://www.ipdb.org/...ine.cgi?id=5175
It has been released for VP 8 before get it here>>>
Heavy Metal
Author(s): TAB, Destruk, DOX, Maloti
http://www.vpforums....u...l&f_id=1698
Some of my fav lines from Heavy Metal...
"Eighteen years of nothing, and now twice in one day!"
"Do we have any of that Plutonium Niborg left?"
"Stern, he's nothing but a double dealing, back stabbing, larcenist, perverted worm..."

Wazzup, Liteuser! Thanks for the info. I'll PM him now.

okay got that one will take a look see into it today
also I am working on a zombie pin with some of Rob Zombies music in it
and a Queen pin does sound like a cool idea since they made literally hundreds of tunes
and although Freddie Mercury wrote tons of songs
he did not write Another One Bites the Dust like I originally thought he did
he wrote these though

I created a bunch of zombie sounds for an audio drama I did (http://www.afternight.com/wonderfears/). I isolated them and placed them here in this file:
They were used in another pin called The Hungry Dead some number of years ago: http://www.pinballni.../thumbs/918.jpg
Feel free to use them in yours.
