The only thing I can think of is I had a bad download. I redownloaded it for the 3rd time, and it finally worked. The one that worked has a script of 511 lines and the first one I downloaded had 97 (which I knew wasn't right unless it had an external script in addition).

A big thank you to Weisshund, Digitalarts,, Xenonph, Clyde, and Telmoabff as well as Bigus for converting and upgrading this. :love39:

They always say the 3rd time is a charm.

No idea why, but it seems to fit this situation.

Antar(Playmatic).vpx doesn't seem to help.

Line 16 doesn't look right. Do I have the wrong download or something? I also tried to do a find next on LOADVPM, and that's not in the script.

capture.jpg

If you look at VPX, it says it is editing an EXTERNAL file

and the file it is editing in antar.vbs from the scripts folder

dont know why that translation exists but it is not needed

as i said above, antar.vbs is deprecated, go rename it

then reload vpx and reload the table, and then go edit line 16 as i have shown

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Hey, anyone know how to activate the Tilt? I tried various settings in lines:

vpmNudge.TiltSwitch =
vpmNudge.Sensitivity =

But it doesn't work...

It tilts according to the score display but the objects in the tilt array don't respond for some reason so only the scoring stops. Dunno, but maybe someone does :unknw:

.

You're right. It was late and I was tired xD The warning sounds and the scoreboard locks. Not flippers, but it doesn't matter.

In fact, the Tilt is too sensitive...

My settings:

TiltSwitch = 6.6
.Sensitivity = 0.1

*In folder Script: "antar":

Case keyBangBack     vpmNudge.DoNudge   0, 3 (default 6)
            Case LeftTiltKey     vpmNudge.DoNudge  75, 1 (default 2)
            Case RightTiltKey    vpmNudge.DoNudge 285, 1
            Case CenterTiltKey   vpmNudge.DoNudge   0, 1

:good:

I think I followed all of the ideas of how I might enjoy this table, but I am not sure where I failed. Is there a clear concise explanation of how to get the Type Mismatch error to be corrected?

Hey clyde, what have you changed since December when you said it worked?  Wondering if it's PinMame maybe.

I haven't kept-up with VPM changes so I don't know which bit it doesn't like. Something with the solenoids is my best guess but if anyone has some insight, let us know.

I think I'll post an update with the other script fixes mentioned here and some other changes. I changed the table name to Table1 for good measure because of the problems with it's name - never know your luck :)

The new core, vbs is not so forgiving to strange syntax, so the script could be changed to something like this

Remove these two lines:

 SolCallback(sSaucer) = array("bsSaucerR.SolOut","bsSaucerR1.SolOut")
 SolCallback(sSaucer) = array("bsSaucerL.SolOut","bsSaucerL1.SolOut")

And Add these:

SolCallback(sSaucer) = "SolKickers"

Sub SolKickers(Enabled)
If enabled Then
    bsSaucerR.ExitSol_On
    bsSaucerR1.ExitSol_On
    bsSaucerL.ExitSol_On
    bsSaucerL1.ExitSol_On
End If
End Sub

This way it will work on the older and newer core.vbs

Error in line 1 means an error in another script. This is usually the core, vbs. I posted the solution two posts up. Those 2 lines must be removed and replaced by what I wrote.
