Well I'm close to having the models for the cannons done so it's looking pretty good that it'll come eventually tongue.gif In theory. This will allow me or someone else to have whatever angle's we need so we can make any view we want. I'm trying out some of the more technical VP stuff at the moment and will have the new cannons working on this version first. Special thanks again to JP and Groni for letting me tear into their original table, I learn more through tinkering than I do just reading about stuff.

I have a camstudio video here of the table with the new cannons working. I haven't had time to get to the lights yet but the models, textures, and ambient lighting is complete. I discovered that camstudio runs like crap with vp biggrin.gif I have no idea how people are able to make such smooth videos of Vp on youtube.

The canons look GREAT!! The visual thing I notice is(and your probably aware) the wire ramps, they seem to be two different colors.

If you want to start the FS conversion process that's ok with me. It'll probably need some re-engineering for the toys and cannons to work in FS mode, but I'm still new at VP and don't run FS mode myself so I don't know what kinds of problems you'll run into.

Beta 1 is up with the new cannons. I still don't have the lights working but I did take the time to squash as many bugs as possible. I also adjusted the flippers for more realistic aiming. Some other graphical changes also just to make it a little more polished. Beta 2 will have lights working and better playfield toy masking among other things.

I adjusted the flippers to better imitate this table I found on youtube:

Thank you - Just grabbed beta1 and played a game. The table is playing very well. The delta quadrant ramp is much better now, If you really get one slammed up there it tends to want to bounce back, but most of my shots go through now. I really like this table and your mod version is really rocking now. I am glad you decided to bring this table to vp 9, good job - it is a lot of fun - thanks again.

Cannons look great Neoblood! Amazing work. Curious for your lights mods. One thing I'd really like to see modded is the way the ball behaves. Just compare the ball launch in the vid with the one in VP; world of difference.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for these new Beta version of your STNG Mod.

At first, you canons are beautiful and have a very good funktion, but i think the ball speed is a little bit to slow and the ball start too(in the video you will see, that the ball runs faster between the round rails.

Look at the picture and you can see that the rails are not really together.
