Thanks for another beauty JP ... :boxing:

A fast response from me to prevent solenoid burning:

Had to "comment" line 589 because this activates the left DOF bumper toy permanently after game starts.

It depends both DOF toy setups for e118 (8 and 10 toy configuration) in DOF table config.

Thanks JP.
Really nice table.
I like the FlexDMD usage you creataed for this table (and your other tables as well).
Good job !

Maybe stupid question, but when I add 1 coin , I get 2 credits, Is this something with VP10.7 scripting somewhere  ?

JP!@

This table absolutely speaks to me.  I've played Legends of Vahalla a few times now and although I don't have plans for it in the collection, I adore the theme and this is right on-par with that table.  The shots are so fun here!  Something for everyone from beginner to advanced and that's something I can appreciate in a table!  Really REALLY well done!  I've played about 30 games now, and man...maybe it's just me, but every time I hit the upper target on the left, it hits the sling post and just bails left.  Is this intentional?  Maybe a bit more randomization from the upper sling cover post?  Keeps me from going after Hades lol.  Fuck him anyway. HAHAH.

WOW x 3 !!!!!!! This looks and plays fantastic and I love the visual effects ........ and

1) DMD: the font/styling in the DMD is fantastic ....... a long way away from the older LED style DMD.

2) DOF: thanks Arngrim !!!!!!!!!!!

3) Table Lighting: effects and change of colors in different modes ............ amazing and helpful in game play.

4) Rom Version Display: really great idea to flash the ROM Version # in the DMD window. I'm a really big fan of that so hope you keep doing that in future tables. It's really helpful in testing the table in the initial release stages.

5) FLEX Support: Totally agree with Mike the Spike really appreciate the FLEX DMD Support too, I like to turn it on for my 2nd Screen test platform before I move your tables into my PinCab.

6) Ball Save Timer "Live Again !": Like the generous timer on the initial ball save time.

UPDATE

1.0.1 Updated 30.01.2022
- Fixed DOF command by arngrim (the bumper activated the knocker)
- adjusted the Pandoras and kickback target lights so they are lit when they have been hit the required number of times (thanks mrjcrane for the tips)

The update is mostly to fix the DOF knocker sounding when the second bumper was hit. Thanks arngrim for the fix.
I also added the tip from mrjcrane to lit the Pandoras and kickback target lights, so you know when you have reached the required shots :) Those lights are not activated now when the Poseidon battle is on.

You may have to enable it in the script, I think JP forgot to change the parameter with the update.

' Use FlexDMD if in FS mode
Dim UseFlexDMD
If Table1.ShowDT = True then
    UseFlexDMD = False
Else
    UseFlexDMD = True
End If

I hate bringing up stuff like this because it makes me feel like a complete idiot, but I'm having a problem getting a DMD display for this game at all. I have a 2-screen cabinet with nothing else, and using the release version of VPX 10.7.

I read here about getting FlexDMD, so I found the latest version on Major Frenchy's GitHub (v1.8.0), downloaded it, installed it, registered it, and the game still wouldn't display a DMD. Unregistered FlexDMD, reboot, re-registered it, reboot, and still no DMD.

I have the "updated" version of the board with the FlexDMD script fix, but not the "latest" one with the DOF solenoid fix (I don't have any toys or effects on my cabinet). As far as I know, no other board I have on my cabinet uses FlexDMD.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have the freezy dmdextensions) The full VPX7 install has everything ready to be used. But do a search in the forum for DMDExt and you will find them (wiesshund has added links those to many threads)

I downloaded Freezy's DMDExt and installed the 64-bit version using the .msi file in the GitHub. I made sure the DMDExt folder was in the VPM folder. I still can't get a DMD to appear in the game. I did install VPX10.7 through the installer here when I updated it from the 10.7 beta, so I downloaded a fresh copy of the VPX installer and installed it again. The DMD still refuses to work on this game. I've even tried using Alt-tab while the game was running to see if the DMD is hiding behind something else (it's not).

I've got to be doing something wrong somewhere. I just don't know enough about the intricacies of VPX to figure out what.

You Put FlexDMD in your VPinMame Folder?

For Freezy's use the 32 bit x86 Version

Always use 32 bits for all the programs related to VP. The VPX 64 bits works very well, but there are some other programs that don't work yet very well in 64 bits, like the vpinmame that has trouble with some Stern tables (it is an emulating thing), and the db2s server is only 32 bit. And there is no real advantage in using 64 bit since the 32 bits VPX can handle all the tables made until now.

I downloaded the 32-bit version of  FlexDMD and installed it. Made sure the appropriate directories were in their proper places. Rebooted my cabinet. Tried WoF again, still no DMD. Uninstalled the 64-bit FlexDMD, made sure the 32-bit one was still active. Rebooted. Tried WOF again. Still no DMD. I'm now officially lost without a map.

Are there any tests I can try to ensure all the pieces of this puzzle are in the right places and working? A list of DMD-centric files and locations I can check against? I'm really clutching at straws now.

Indeed and thanks JP for adding the lights = on for those kickbacks when the modes are activated. Having them on the right side of the table lets the player know its time to hammer pandora's box, then on the left side it serves to remind the player that the hades gate has been activated. One thing I like to do early on in the game is hammer on those left kickbacks soon as I can to activate the hades gate. It's kind of like an extra free ball save. Similar with the rewards offered in Pandora's box.
