Hey peeps.

Yep I'm still kicking.

Nice table. I remember kicking this tables ass as a young man at my local fish and chip shop.

If you want to hear the knocker when you kick this tables ass you need to change:

348: SolCallback(14) = "vpmSolSound SoundFX(""Knocker"",DOFKnocker),"

to

348: SolCallback(14) = "vpmSolSound SoundFX(""fx_Knocker"",DOFKnocker),"

That is all.

The "artist" formerly known as "Leo Wanker".

Hello JP and Community, and JP thank you for this early SS I have never seen in real. I have now 10.7 on my test system. But with this table I have only the mechanical sound while playing - not any chimes or beeps. Where I have to search?

Sincerely Christian.

Greetings from Christian.

Thanks for the nvram file! Seems even with this sound fix there's still electronic sounds that are different than the real table sounds. I've watched about 5 and we're missing a few here. They are simple tones but on the real tables they are much more complex sounds. There's a few that are correct though. Hopefully in the future we can see this sorted out.

When you are in play press F6,

the first two DIPs are used to select the type of sound, tonal or synthetic.

Thank You JP for this table, how can I turn on the credit light on the apron, when I insert coins it does not light up. Thanks Again for your time and work.

I guess the bulb burnout ;) I'll replace it and I'll upload the fixed table :)

EDIT; I just tested the table and it works. Only tested version 5.5.0. I only tested with the latest vpinmame and VPX8.

This might help some , the ROM listed on here (VPforums) is missing a file.

The download in this thread supplied by Xenonph works.

Yes, it is a problem in this site that the roms are not being updated. destruk used to do that, but he stopped updating them. I think only he has the right to update them, but I  think Carny_Priest use to upload the updated roms at vpu.

I use to download what I need from the internet archive, here:

Strange, must be something with my setup. I'm on vpx8 1975 and vpinmame 3.6 1038. Deleted nvram and tried 1.0.1, 4.0 and 5.5 versions with still no credit light. Will do more investigating and update to latest versions. Thank You JP for your response.

You need to open table in editor, and click the light on apron (li56), and right click and hover on Add / Remove Collection, and uncheck it so it is not associated with areels.

newbitmapimage17_t.png

Now your apron credit light works in FS mode.

So Fortunate to be part of a wonderful community that is very giving of it's time and knowledge. Thank You Xenonph for the fix and JP for the excellent table.
