It looks great!

I remember liking that yellow themed "Lightning" VP table of yours way back.... You must be over 20 now. smile.gif

Wow Bob! I can't believe somebody remembers Lightning! That was the first table I ever released, and my programming was so bad that I did all sorts of weird stuff to make it work. Do you know if my old tables are being hosted somewhere? I'd have to dig out and hook up my old PC to get those files. I don't wanna play "F-14 Tomcat - Revenge of Yagov" though... what a mistake that turned out to be (lol).

Anyway, thanks for playing Blue Vs. Pink... It's been a fun journey making these games.

Brendan

I still have that table as well. I still like the music and sound effects. The music was taken from a game called Crue Ball I think. biggrin.gif

Yes, the Music came from Crue Ball, as did the music of one of my other tables, Firepower 3. Brian Schmidt, the composer of the music found my website with Lightning on it and emailed me requesting a copy of the Crue Ball soundtrack since I had each track ripped from the Genesis rom. Brian was happy that I had used the music even though I didn't have permission! Nowadays I just write my own music for the games, and the soundtrack to Blue Vs. Pink was actually the first thing I did after I decided I wanted to develop the concept.

Had this awesome table the day you released it, being a fan of your other great work. Very impressive music as well. That's a cool story about the Crue Ball writer. Nice to see he had the right attitude about fan initiative. Glad to see you and the others posting your efforts here more now. It's a good vibe.

I had a problem if i start the table a got an error message:

There was a problem loading that file

i use the version 1.9.2008.1225

Any idea to solve the problem?

I got the error and it turned out my file didn't download properly. I think the first download was from an older version of the site. I downloaded it from here and it worked fine.

I love this table and your other tables. Metal Slug, Megaman, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 are all good stuff.

Don't worry about the error, just keep clicking ok. I have many tables that do this and sometimes it happens multiple times- but they all play.

I sometimes get errors on all different tables. Just keep pressing ok and it'll load.

Yep, always get Problem loading that file error. Keep hitting ok, loads to editor. Play table, & get a different error on loading screen. Any chance of a lite version? Few other tables do the same thing, lite version corrected issue on my system

Ok, I can run rc1 fine, but not the rc1-1.0 update/1.0 complete. The difference in these tables lays within new BVP Screen.fpl file that's only included with the new 1.0 version. I will try to go in & bump down the resolution of the files within, but there are alot of them. Can't run this on my quad core desktop or amd athlon desktop either. I'm currently on newer laptop with Win 7 x64. Load images into editor is off, UAC off, Tried enabling Use Texture Compression (S3TC) which didn't work, but breaks 20+ tables that will only run with this disabled. So i don't know. Happy with getting to finally play rc1 though. Great table Brendan! I will post back if my "personal lite" mod works out. Will solve for alot of people. @ Itchigo, any table that i've encountered with problem loading that file error (only a few), i was able to keep hitting ok, went to the editor, play table & it crashes. Except for one (not this table unfortunately)

I can't help you with the crashing. I have several that I have to hit ok all the time but they work afterward. The crashing I think is a separate problem. I had to take Hardware acceleration and set it to halfway on my old computers or I would get other errors (open gl).
