I thought it was the same table layout but it doesn’t appear to be. If you follow my Stern Cue wip over at VPB, you can see the challenges of building a prototype table with no manual. ScottyVH was kind enough to work on the graphics for me but I was able to track 1 machine down and get some good reference pictures.

If you can find someone on pinside who has the table. Ask for multiple pics of the PF with the glass off, an overhead pic for placement and videos of gameplay and possibly switch and lamp tests.

This would also be a great Start for an original table if we can’t get pics

But MJ is actually MOD of LW3, so it has same playfield shots

Thanks all for making this available.  I was able to play MJ rom using the Lethal Weapon VPX 3 this afternoon for a few minutes.  Game and rom all seem to work properly.

their is another LW3 reskin  with a modded rom

compare the LW3 SW and Light IDs   to the AS table; its pretty much the same table.

 

 I was dumb enough to color the Aaron Spelling DMD.  and I can pretty much tell you

 

that its petty much the same rom with modified animations  and sounds

 

LW3  has a Subway car going back and forth

AS  has a cruise ship going back and forth

 

the fight animation was changed to 2 woman slapping  each other

 

some animations like the police siren animation where not changed

pinballfan6500, if the layout is the same for LW you lucked out partner.  If resources are hard to find for the original table, i would think your best bet is to find one of the many talented artists around here to take what you have for pictures and make a semi-original copy of the real artwork.  I know i wouldnt lose sleep over the authenticity of the artwork because before last week, mostly all of us didnt even know this table existed.  The music and sound fx are pretty cool for this rom

There was only one full image of MJ playfield so far that I was able to find, but bottom of the image is not at the right position

I'll try to find some talented artist, to get some more MJ playfield images. There are some MJ pictures on IPDB, but there are no full images

Which artist you could recommend to me?

And also, I agree, music and sound fx in MJ is great!

For example, "Jordan is that fire tonight!" line was reused in Space jam

And the intro speech (Except "And now, the starting lineup for your world champion, Chicago Bulls!") was also reused in SJ

Don't consider yourself dumb just because you didn't color Aaron Spelling DMD

Everybody makes mistakes, and it's okay

 

Aaron Spelling pinball is great, just like MJ

the reason I felt dumb was because I'm still under the impression that we will never  have the resources to build a HQ VP table.

Aaaah, okay

Well, we can use Aaron Spelling images and replace LW3 images with one from Aaron Spelling

You can open Aaron Spelling table with VPX, then export images, and import them onto LW3

i had the same thought Stat.  there are 2 versions on pinside so who knows.  I think that would be perfectly fine though

Thanks, I prefer always one as in the real Table/BG.
Image wasn't a straight View and that Resolution, I optimized that, browsed through some Pages, can't remember, what Page it was.

Feel free to use for Table, of course!
