Hi, yes it shows up on desktop mode

There is a possibility (I tried) first put the table on desktop mode, then on the computer you have to set portrait mode, put the right setting on vpx videos graphics options and the table works with dmd in fullscreen!

Ok. Thanks. I see it go away when that "Test Desktop" box is unchecked.

Watchmen uses three separate sets of reels for its display: one for desktop, one for rotated full screen, and one for portrait mode full screen. In Queen, only the desktop reels are visible. Both of the full screen sets of reels have been moved off screen.

Another thing that could cause the display not to appear is that Watchmen has a PuP pack, and is coded to show the PuP instead of anything on the game screen if PuP is installed. If line 34 of the script of Queen reads:

If oPuPlayer is Nothing then bUsePUP = False else bUsePUP = True

replace it with:

bUsePUP = False

Thanks Wizball. We tried your code suggestion above and it didn't work. So I'm apt to believe it's because people are doing something other than DESKTOP. Which I thought I was pretty clear in stating but people aren't reading or perhaps I haven't been clear enough.

I've begun setting up an update to rework the the full screen images, but in all honesty it's not high in my priority of things to do. I may have an update eventually, but people who want to play the Queen tables should expect the DMD's to not work if your setup is anything other than desktop.

Yeah, the code fix is specifically for the case where PuP is installed.

Right. Another person who has PuP installed said it didn't fix anything, which is why I'm thinking it's more the other assessment - that people are setting their tables with FULLSCREEN or something other than DESKTOP. Seems more likely.

But this other person said they tried all other setups and no matter what he did he couldn't get the DMD to show. Desktop, fullscreen, or with the PUP code fix.

For those saying the DMD isn't showing, could you try this: Open the table in VP and go to the Backglass/POV mode. Then check the box that says "Test Desktop" and run the table. See if it shows up for you.
Let me know here if it does.

I just did that, and the DMD appeared

hello wpilot, did you manage to discover the error of not showing the dmd in the table?

The DMD will not show up unless you use DESKTOP mode in the table setup.

Fullscreen assets weren't made for these tables.

Awesome tables. Thanks again.

DMD doesn't show up unless I select 'test desktop' as you suggested - but in this mode I can't seem to resize it or fit it vertically on my screen. I'm using a 2 screen set up.

Yeah unfortunately this will be the case for anyone that doesn't have an identical setup to my own. Since I don't have a second monitor setup I cannot test any build to make sure things are functioning correctly.

Not fun for people, I know. But since I'm building these things for myself and just sharing them with people that want them - this will be the case unless I upgrade my setup to 2 screen.

I've stripped the music from the tables and submitted the VPX files to the MOD section.

OK I was able to get the dmd to display in my 2 screen setup at the bottom left of the playfield. It's not an actual "dmd" but it allows me to view the score amongst three players while playing this great table(s).

I selected the backglass tab/button on the left side of visual pinball 10.6. Then dragged a portion of the objects around until I had it working keeping everything off screen that I didn't want. The circled portion was nested in one of the blue boxes bottom right of the image. You need to drag a square around the individual pieces to move them as a group/select all after dragging the blue box away.

hope this helps someone and thanks for the table(s)!
