Hi,

 

Looks fantastic especially with the lighting mod, but...

My scarecrow crane and joker motor malfunctioning.

They turn to the leftmost position on the very beginning and stay there forever.

Even with the rom motor tests can't move them.

All my other tables play fine without any errors.

 

Any advice?

Have installed 10.7 already but the problem persists.

Hi v8nagrom, make sure you have no .vbs files in your tables folder. Other than that - dunno, I haven't had that problem.

No .vbs files.

I'm trying to make a clean reinstall of VPX.

Hope it solves the problem.

I had that exact problem v8nagrom.  Updating my VPM did the trick.  It requires VPM rev 4515 at least.

I've already tried to update all my vp stuff but didn't know that there are newer vpm version than 3.0.

Now I'm using rev 5022.

Works fine.

Unfortunately the batmobile ramp eating the ball is still a problem in newest version 1.1

 

On my latest play on 1.1 i managed to send the ball to trigger the ramp, the batmobile moved, my ball came back as expected so i was happy hoping it was fixed, but then once i got the ball on my left flipper i managed to relaunch immediately that ball into the batmobile ramp, the batmobile animation played again but this time the ball had disappeared.

 

Other than this very nasty problem, the table is fantastic, great work.

I remember some bug with the old version Dark Knight too a lot of time ago. Yesterday i checked PinballX and it's open it with vpx 10.5 for me.

I don't remember i got any bug with it from the last year and i played a lot.

So...try it with older vpx guys maybe it helps (not sure but worth a try i think).

(It was the same solution than with the old Indianapolis 500. Indy500 left ramp worked only with 10.4 and before for a reason without bug.)

Warning: Didn't tried Bigus version yet, so not sure it works/looks good with older vpx or not.

I kinda took it on faith that the problem was new to the 1.2 NN & TT version, so I basically backdated the setup to the 1.1 NN & TT version. I suspected that there may still be a problem, as the main change in their 1.2 update was to the Batmobile ramp area. I'll see what I can come up with to solve the issue.

Seems like i have a harder time to send the ball to the batmobile as in my several play i only managed it 2 times with the new version, it looks like my luck went away :D.

But those 2 times the balls worked correctly and never disappeared.

 

So hopefully it's fixed, thanks for your update.

 

edit : a few days later i got the ball in the batmobile ramp a lot of time and it has always worked correctly, it seems this nasty problem is definitively fixed in this version, thanks.

Hello,

 

thank you very much for this table, plays superb

 

But i have an aliasing tearing problem with the cabinet.

 

Also i can´t see a backround image. Do i have to select one from the editor?!

 

Sry for this newbie questions but i am new to all this stuff :)

I use VPX 10.7. beta.

not a table specific problem, not a post for the table thread.
At a glance, almost looks like you are using AMD with out checking to use alt depth buffer in video prefs


If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Yes i have an AMD Card.

And yes i didn´t checked alt depth buffer in the prefs. After activating this it looks good and is working right. Thank you.

 

Sry that i didn´t know that this wasn´t a table specific problem.

 

I have a lot to learn about VPX.

In the middle of the Joker multi ball, the game stopped and gave me a script error.  Line 666 something about unable to load fake ball.

If you're running 10.8, chances are you'll find all kinds of problems with tables from various sources and they are probably best reported to the 10.8 beta thread.

This table is one of my few remaining 10.6 builds but works fine with 10.7.  If the table has issues beyond a 10.8 final release, I'll take a look at it :)
