I wonder. Has anyone noticing the flippers dying on you for a short time ?

If i remember correctly the sharpshooter table from GamePlan has nearly the same error sometimes. Mmmmh.

Yes, now that you mention it. I remember, but, wasn't that tied to the bumpers or something like that ? Kind of irritating since this table gives double scoring when there is two balls in play and trapping one up isn't going to work very well.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Having a problem with the game lighting up the extra ball light when I hit one of the top rollovers above the bumpers. I changed the dip switch settings (enable extra ball and extra ball control options) but to no avail.

I had the same problem. Be sure to have "Extra ball control",  "Recall extra ball lane", and "Enable extra ball" unchecked, and set "Replay or free ball award" to "replay". This worked for me.

Still, if you delete the nvram file to avoid the three credits, you get the extra ball problem again. It's endless...

"Sharpshooter" gives the extra ball when the first points are added, regardless what you hit - rollover, bumper, slingshot, drop target...

That did the trick! Thanks for the input. :D

There is something wrong with the dip switch options.

Fix:

Delete the nvram and cfg files in the respective folders.

In the script, delete lines 827-848.

Add this:

Sub editDips
Dim vpmDips:Set vpmDips = New cvpmDips
    With vpmDips
.AddForm 700, 400, "Gameplan Andromeda - DIP switches"
        .AddFrame 2, 0, 190, "Credits per coin", &H0000001F, Array("1 credit - 2 coins", &H000000031, "1 credit - 1 coin", &H00000002, "2 credits - 1 coin", &H00000004, "5 credits - 1 coin", &H0000000A) 'dip 1-5
        .AddFrame 2, 76, 190, "Maximum credits", &H06000000, Array("10 credits", 0, "20 credits", &H02000000, "30 credits", &H04000000, "40 credits", &H06000000)                                          'dip 26&27
        .AddFrame 2, 152, 190, "High game to date award", &HC0000000, Array("no award", 0, "1 credit", &H40000000, "2 credits", &H80000000, "3 credits", &HC0000000)                                       'dip 31&32
        .AddFrame 210, 0, 190, "Replay or free ball award", &H18000000, Array("no award", 0, "50,000 points", &H08000000, "extra ball", &H10000000, "replay", &H18000000)                                  'dip 28+29
        .AddFrame 210, 76, 190, "Balls per game", &H00C00000, Array("1 ball", 0, "2 balls", &H00400000, "3 balls", &H00800000, "5 balls", &H00C00000)                                                      'dip 23+24
        .AddFrame 210, 152, 190, "Specials per game", &H00004000, Array("1 special only", 0, "2 specials", &H00004000)                                                                                     'dip 15***
        .AddFrame 210, 198, 190, "Spinner points", &H01000000, Array("start at 100 points", 0, "start at 1,000 points", &H01000000)                                                                        'dip 25***                                                                                                                                           'dip 16***
        .AddChk 2, 250, 150, Array("Match feature", &H20000000)                                                                                                                                            'dip 30                                                                                                                                    'dip 14
.AddLabel 30, 320, 300, 20, "After hitting OK, press F3 to reset game with new settings."
        .ViewDips
    End With
End Sub

Now you have fewer options to choose from, but the extra ball error and the 3 credits error are both gone.

Great table so thanks for the great work

The only problem with the newest dips is that I only get 1 ball per game even if I set it to 5 balls.

You're right. I've edited my original posting. This should work now - i've tested it many times (with 3 balls, at least).

Thalamus, everything is OK with my balls. I have two of them. Hahaha.

Awesome table, as usual, my friend! ;)

I only wonder where did the source pictures came from. 🤔😁

Congratulations JP and Siggi! ;)

What's up, Editoy? You are missed here.
It would be amazing to have you back on the VP scene again. ;)

It's impossible only if you believe so. ;)

UPDATE 1.0.1

1.0.1 Updated 19.04.2020
- fixed script typing error, thanks kiwi
- new DIP switch routine from Albert to fix extra ball and extra credits errors from the rom.

- new image for the bumper from pedator.

And thanks Carlos for sending the images to Siggi :)

Just a few small fixes, but important ones :)

If you have problems with extra balls, shoot again light always on, or lanes awarding extra credits, then I recommend you to quit VPX, delete the nvram file (andromed.nv), start the table again, press F6 and change the number of balls, since the default is just 1 ball per game (?!). F3 doesn't work on my computer, but quit the table and run it again :) It should be good from now on :)

Shadow ball:
in Baywatch, (last hundred lines of the scripts) as for the rolling sounds, I disabled the shadow ball in the "stop the sound of deleted balls" section,
then I added an "If" statement to say when or where the shadow is visible or not (almost at the end of the scripts), I used a constant.
To match the index, I added another shadow flasher to the collection, or you can decrease the total number of balls by 1 (tnob).

Cannot find the nvram file to delete it. It's not in the nvram folder & nowhere in the visual pinballfolders. It seem it is not created . Any idea???

I see what you are saying and I can't do anything else than to trust that you are telling the truth. If you go into that folder and sort if by date, is there any table that has updated/writen to their nvram files ? If not, well, then it surely has to be a permission problem.

Maybe they crach when you exit, not being able to write back that nvram. I've seen it happen, but, a while ago now. Look for crash.dmp and crash.txt - delete them or check their age. Try again. If they come back, then the table is crashing and you will have such issues.
