If oy play in a cabinet then you simply need to change in the script the rom used.

 

At lines 18 and 19 you see these lines:

 

Const cGameName = "sst"

'Const cGameName = "sstb"

 

So just comment the first one and remove the ' from the second one

 

'Const cGameName = "sst"

Const cGameName = "sstb"

 

But if you are playing in desktop mode, then it is not so easy as another set of reels must be added. But I plan to update all my tables in the future using my latest physics, new LUT and sounds, so I'll add the 7 digit reels, and they will follow the selected rom.

I guess I'll start updating my tables at the end of the year, since I have too many travels reserved It has been my dream that when I should retire from work I should visit many places, and my wife and I are doing it now But I always will have some free time to update my tables. Just now I'm adjusting my physics to make them even closer to real tables (although I know that they will never be the same as the real tables )

4.0.0 Updated 09.11.2022

- Updated to my VPX7 physics

- Some small script updates, like the Rolling sound and PlaySoundAt routines.

- Added my latest VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL).

- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table

- Changed the Environment image to enhance the metals and also a little the object shadows.

- Made the light inserts warmer.

4.0.1 Updated 17.11.2022

- Added 7 digits to the score display of the desktop version. Select the rom you prefer at the top of the script. I have left the 7 digits as the default rom.

 

When I updated the table to version 4 I forgot to add support for the 7 digits ROM Now, you can select the 6 or the 7 digits ROm at the top of the script and the desktop version will change also the number of score digits I leave the 7 digits as the default. There are some free play roms you may select also in the script, but I haven't tried them much, only that they are both 6 digits, even if in the download section one appears to be a 7 digits rom.

I updated from 4.0.0 to 4.0.1 and all of a sudden it stopped working. After I start the table nothing happens. I hear the sound of coins being inserted, the plunger works, but the table simply won't start. I decided to go back to 4.0.0 and everything is back to normal.

Hallo J. P., vielen Dank für diesen hervorragenden Tisch und vielen Dank für die neue Version. Leider gibt es bei diesem Tisch nach wie vor zwei gravierende Fehlfunktionen: 

1. Wenn ich die Nummern 1-5 abräume sollte der Stern (1000 when lit) im unteren Tischbereich leuchten, was aber nicht erfolgt.

2. Die linke Targetbank gibt weder Extraballs, noch Specials.

Noch ein Problem: In der neuen Version erscheinen die LED-Displays auf der Spielfläche.

Es wäre großartig, wenn Sie an diesem Tisch entsprechende Korrekturen vornehmen könnten.

Thanks mopete! I tested the reels and they worked fine, but then I made some changes... It is just typical me

 

About the scoring you need to press F6 during the game to set your awards, after that press F3 or restart the table and it will give you the rewards.

Hallo J.P., vielen Dank für die schnelle Antwort. Die Funktion der F6-Taste ist mir bekannt. Aber dadurch lassen sich die Probleme 1 und 2 nicht lösen. Gravierend ist vor allem der Bug mit der linken Targetbank: Wenn ich die Nummern 1-5 das erste Mal abgeräumt habe bekomme ich dafür Punkte und das Licht "Extra Ball" leuchtet. Wenn ich die Bank das zweite Mal abgeräumt habe bekomme ich dafür wieder Punkte aber keinen Extra-Ball. Nun leuchtet aber "Special". Wenn ich die Bank das dritte Mal abgeräumt habe gibt es wieder Punkte aber kein Special. Das F6-Menü bietet mir hier keine Einstell-Optionen - oder habe ich irgendwas übersehen?

About the Special:  it seems that it gives 25.000 points, and I can see that maybe some settings are missing from F6  dip switch menu, but it is the one Inkochnito made. 

I have tried both 6 digits ROM and the 7 digits ROM, they both work the same for me.

Nun hat die linke Targetbank eine große strategische Bedeutung bei diesem Tisch, so dass ich die Funktionen gerne haben möchte. Laut Handbuch müsste für eine korrekte Funktion Sw. #14, #15 und #24 auf ON stehen. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit entsprechende Anpassungen vorzunehmen?

What you can do is to load the table in the editor, open the script editor and delete the dip switch routine at the end of the script. Then run the table, press F6 and select the dip switches you want, press ok, press F3 to restart the rom and those dip switches will be saved to the nvram.
