Then, it sounds like a "Bally Fix" ;) .... thanks for the Info Thalamus, and thanks JP for the Update.

so I took a look at the newest Draifet mod version since it was described as a "darker" version... so since I was theone that did the relight on this version... its not that the table is darker, since the table can be as dark or light using the slider....

what was really done to the lighting in the mod version:

since VPX uses a flat disc of light... to get accurate lighting from each bulb... it needs a lower light to light the PF and a light on the tip of the bulb to light the plastics this also stops objects being cut in half by the "light disc"....by doing that you can control the light casted onto the PF, without blowing out the plastics....  theres also a combination of values that are used on the upper and lower lights to get that more realistic look... so no matter if you want the table a bit brighter you will still see the GI lighting doing its job

Maybe I lowered the default slider to my personal preference, I don't remember. Still working on this mod, and by the way the screenshoot wasn't from my last update fore sure, cause the top lights now have color. I will try to do this change at the targets.

As long as you are using an object with a depth bias you can set this to about -1000 and the object will not be lit by the lightsource anymore. Another way to get rid of the cut in half problem.

UPDATE:

Updated the MOD by Draifet to its final version. He changed the playfield, bumpers, helicopter, lights ++ so the table is as close as possible to the real one. Haunfreaks did the Gi illumination.

Awesome.  Thanks.  I guess that should have been my question, which was the latest release.   I know the file management isn't ideally functional in this cms' download area.

I have updated my own table, with a few better graphics, mostly the center of the table.

This is another example of a table using the Arcade Physics 3.0 with the strong flippers and regulating the ball speed in the script so it suits the table without ramps.

Hi JP!

Thanks for all your tables and continued updates. If you convert this table to 10.7 do you think @Siggi can fix the State typos on the playfield? California and Utah are spelled wrong.

Thanks for all you do!

I have no plans to update the table since the physics are the same, only that in 10.7 I can use walls to make the rubber parts that hit the ball, and in 10,6 I used rubbers. It is easier to use walls as they can be changed more easier then the rubbers.

But I can update the table and remove the typos :) No problem :) I hadn't seen those typos :)

Having an issue with balls getting stuck under the switch at the top right, both on the launch and when trying to complete the left loop.  Could this be a 10.6 issue?

I'll take a look, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with 10.6

Edit: I have checked the table and there is nothing to stop the ball there, I guess you haven't changed the ball size.
