I remember playing this game back in the early 90's when the local arcade was full of Williams / Bally DMD games.  I distinctly remember that the call out quality of this game was terrible, even on the real hardware.  It was like a level or two worse than comparable games of the era, almost like the voice calls were sampled at 8Khz on a potato.   White water is similar, super tinny low resolution samples that sound harsh and clipped and TAF just scrapes though but it also pretty bad in my opinion.

About time we do find someone with great sounding voices and run it through pinsound instead. I just checked btw, pinsound is aweful too.

Thanks for the feedback. Now I know at least that it isn't my system.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Thanks for a great table :)
On my 3rd go the ball went into the cosmic cottage and didn't come back out.

If I happened to find my way into the cosmic cottage, I don’t think I’d come out either!

1.0.1 Updated 26.04.2018
- increased the size of the top rocket and changed its animation to a simpler shaking.
- increased the slope
- increased the flipper strength
- made DJ head lighter

About the ball getting stuck into the cosmic cottage: a simple nudge and it will come out :)

JP, thanks again for this table

I found something very funny and perhaps useful, you can have "stereo" DMDs ! :)

I'm having a serious problem with the ball hitting the top of the left sling shot and about 80% of the time this causes a left outlane drain: As if the speed and direction of the bounce is nearly locked to cause a drain from that point of impact. My memory of playing it is distant, but I recall on the real table, the ball typically bounces back towards the center playfield on this point of impact.

Also noticed the slow ball speed compared to the VP 9.9 version. I reduced pf friction to 0.07 and increased flipper strength to 2300, but the flow is still slower than VP9 or the actual table. Must be some VPX limitation.

this dude again...LOL

I put walls in front of all the drains and set the friction to 0 on the playfield

found this... the ball on a soft plunge gets hung up on the crest of the wall and gate standoff... I was about to just add a wedge there, then i seen this, seems the real table would have had the same issue as well.... but it was fixed with this wire guide (a wedge) ..... so I use a wire guide ramp.... not that you can see it while playing.... no matter, it cant get hung up now...

I tried to explain the same issue some posts ago, I said: "I only played 5 min, but on first launch the ball get stuck on the upper part of the loop, the screw is not collidable but I think that the base of the gate is the problem."

Thanks Hauntfreaks for explaining it properly and JP for the fix.

Has anyone noticed the small file sizes JP can make tables with?  Legend - so much complexity in such a small download.

Beautiful work. Thank you for all.

I know the real pinball very well. And I've found a problem with the three "Ah" targets at the upper right side of the playfield. It's impossible to light them on and so to activate the robot head...

Am I the only one to have this problem ?
