I'm using that matrix from IPDB. So I guess that my first guess to where that switch 31/spinner was right, so I'll change it back :)

Yes, I agree. Assuming the atalho/shortcut is supposed to award 15K plus the bonus, it works fine without any switch at that gate. If you take the top route it only awards 10K. I think the instructions on the apron are wrong since I don't think the shortcut effects the special in any way.

The only thing strange about the extra ball is that you can also get it by just touching the gate from the top instead of actually making that shot from the bottom.  We can easily add a pair of triggers to only activate sw31 when hit from below but I'm not sure how the real table would do that unless it was a one way gate.  But, as you said, all the videos show a two way gate.

1.0.2 Update 08.03.2018
- Moved back switch 31 to the center gate.

But instead of making the gate trigger the switch, I have added the switch under the gate, so the ball has to go through the gate to activate. Now it will not trigger the switch just by touching the gate.

I guess you need to delete the nvram file called stest.nv in your NVRAM folder.

English playfield:

pf_EN.png

DartMarino the texts have to be in  Portuguese because it's a pinball made in Brazil.

And for other time first you ask permision to fix the picture of playfield because I vectorize all the playfield if not I don,t going to vectorize more playfields.

There is to always keep everything original of the playfield of each pin like the original.

Can somebody explain the extra ball feature? I know you have to light position 1 and then get the left lane to light the roll under switch, but what next? Is it timed?

Don't see a problem with supplying an alternative playfield. I however, is not going to change a Portuguese original Taito for a translated one. It is for me important to run the Brazilian Taito' looking and playing as close as possible to the original and of course the playfield is an essential part of it. If I started changing the playfield, I should really consider changing the backglass too. What a mess.

DarthMarino just gave us an alternative. Nothing wrong with that. Thank you, but no thanks :)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

^That's all it was meant to be.  I never implied that I was fixing something that was wrong or that it shouldn't be made as close to the original as possible.  I really like the table so I was curious what the rules were.  I translated it so I could better understand what was going on.  As it turns out, several of the rules on the apron (and even the scan of the real flyer on IPDB) seem to be incorrect. This led me to find the issue with the upper targets that JP fixed with the updates. I figured more people would enjoy the table if they understood what was going on and I was going to suggest possibly changing the Portuguese rules that I believe to be incorrect.  As always, I checked if there was permission to mod without approval. There was and I know JP has provided translated aprons with a number of his tables.  There was zero reason for me to believe this would be an issue and I would offend someone who worked on the table.  Lesson learned.

anothing to remember when modding a table is a grace period for all involved to get there achnolagemnt and kudos....
IMO I give it a few months before releasing an official mod... again thats the etiquette IMO

I do agree that its no big deal translating the brazilian tables to english... its just bad timing... IMO

LOL... and if anyone is thinking of bring up Hanibal his tables are all unauthorized mods, whats good for the goose is good for the gander....   :diablo:

JP, I just had a chance to play this table. It plays and looks so great! Physics wise, it's right up there with your awesome Flash table. All of your classic wall, metal, rubber noises are just cool.

One question: Is there a way to play this table with coins and pressing start? Each time I open the table, the first ball come out right away (without me pressing the coin or start buttons). It seems like it's on auto start as soon as the table is opened.

Any help is appreciated and thanks for sharing your work!

All the Taito tables resume the gameplay after a power fail. So if you quit the table in middle of a game, then the next time you start the table it will continue with the next ball. But if you finish a game then you'll need to put coins and press start.

Another Way for this: you can write-protecting (read only) your nvram/stest.nv File, but then you always lose your Credits State and Hiscore.

(=and this before you have started a Game)

Thanks, I didn't know this.

Also, is there a way to change the table to play with 3 balls instead of 5? I didn't see this in the script. Thanks!

Yes, there is. This is not done in the script, but in the dip switches. But I'm afraid I don't understand which dip switches must be changed to activate it. There is a dip switch info at the IPB, and you can set the dip switches in VP by hitting F6 when running the table. After they are set you need to restart the table to activate them. So I play the Taito tables with their default values, which all them are set to 5 balls :)
