I reviewed the doc and did some quick tests.  I believe the Novelty setting is controlling this behavior.  Please try disabling this setting and see if it resolves the issue.

If I understand correctly, you unchecked "extra ball & replay points" in order to get the extra ball?

Thanks for the settings. I test it tomorrow. Maybe I have changed it in the vp9-table

Happy about this nice release :otvclap:

Noticed that DOF slingshots didn´t react and that they must be called as "E101"  for left sling and "E102" for the right sling in DOF config. In the script the call is wrong (E104 for left sling and 103 for the right sling).

I´m not sure about the knocker ? Is there a knocker that must be working in the table ?

Greedings

PS: 17-11-2017 - solved now in the new dof tables config

Yes, works as it should. How can I tell, that there is a bug in a JP-release?

Hi there ... :boxing:

noticed that the ball at JP´s tables is getting ways to fast while playing (i think); seems not to be real. The ball sometimes is bumping around like a lightweight tabletennis ball.

What could i do ?

I´m missing the ballmass (bmass) variable in the script so that the table is getting the ballmass value from core.vbs. Should i add it manually to the script - it didn´t work yet. Or should i turn on the included "sync" option at the be beginning of the script to prevent it´s getting to fast (i don´t know if this should be standing for a too fast getting ball?).

Thanks for your ideas ...

ps: added now "Const BallMass = 2.0" to the script before "LoadVPM" Line. It works now. What do u think is the right ballmass value - does´t seem it changed something !?

Sorry my mistake; i think a had a wrong table physics included in this table; forget it please

Of course the images of the people were just a copy/paste job, otherwise they would look like a Dalí painting  :)

Ok, now you have my attention
Could you submit a demo please?

and all the info you get is google is your friend  :dblthumb:

i'll stick with e'm's but no one seems to be making them just

doing updates there are so many e.m's  pre 1970 just waiting to be made

what it needs is an idiots guide to making e.m's then i will be happy

but i wont hold my breath

There is no such thing as an idiots guide to EM's because an idiot could not make one.
You are writing various overlapping and interlaced logic routines and the difficulty depends on the complexity of the table.

There are literally tons of pre 1970 EM tables here.
There are also tons of Modern tables that are originals or the ROM doesnt exist, and so are basically very complex EM's.

Is there a reason you have come to piss on this table's update thread?

If you want to make something, there are tons of already made tables that you can learn from
People make what tables interest them, and they dont have to share them.

You didnt ask anything

You literally just came and posted a snotty little rant in JP's table update, that had nothing to do with the table.
And the man has really a silly number of tables for everyone to freely enjoy
or take apart and mod etc.
And he answers anyone that asks how to do something.
S he should be one of the last people here that one comes at with a snotty attitude.

I have several EM tables waiting to be made. What I need is good pictures of the tables. Many people send me pictures ready to be used that they have redrawn, like akiles50000, pedator, halen and others. Next year I'll start with the ones I already have the images ready, since just now I'm updating all my VPX tables to my latest physics and scripts, as some of the tables are quite old and they needed an update :).  149 tables updated and 33 to go :)

Loserman made a ton of EM tables, and a few people are updating them. But I see why most authors prefer to make modern tables, since there are more things to do while playing and most people will find them more appealing with more sounds, voices and music, but still EM tables are being made. I do not like much older EM tables, with the small flippers, but I still make them if I have nice images. So if you want older tables, then find or make yourself a nice image of the playfield and the plastics, and I'm sure someone or I will make it :)
