BTW, don't credits/buy-in work? I assigned a button but I never get a question about a buy-in.

As the table does not use a ROM

you would have to check the script for a buy in function
and if it has one, check what key it is set to in the script

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

Hi,

the table is "set" to FreePlay and has no BuyIn button. If You feel the need, You can adjust the number of balls at the top of the script (BallsperGame).

I do not like the BuyIn feature at all on pinballs and so I decided intentionally to not code it here.

Regards

Michael

Seeing this is quite a surprise to me. How would the Service Menu be handled, though? Timeshock had one.

Hi Touchmaster97,

sorry, I do not understand Your question completely. You can set some variables at the top of the script. This is more flexibility than the original game had and I had no intentions to add a separate DMD menu for that.

The service menu for the original "The Web" allowed to change the settings of viewing angle, screen resolution and DMD placement. You can use the VPX editor for this.

I'm talking mainly about Adjustments like Saver Time, Balls per Game, Replay Thresholds, Replay Rewards, as well as more Table Specific features like time for each Mode or the Lock Difficulty and the like.

Did the web even have that?

No, that is why it is not implemented.

Did not think so, being s it was always a software table and that is not normally a feature of those
when not created from a real one.
Or at least was not

While waiting on my Autoplunger and Kickback units, I bought a 3D printer (Sovol SV01) to create the non-standard stuff on my own. The printer setup was nice and easy and I have printed some parts just to check the accuracy and the durability of the printed objects. I must say, that I am impressed. The printing process is quite slow but the results are worth it. The ball guides next to the flippers are nice already and maybe I can print the ramps too.

I also printed a switch housing for my incomplete Sega trough, that is missing the top ball release unit. That way, I now have a 7 ball trough, that has no jam switch but should work as intended.

I am really looking forward to print Zany's space ship models for real.

The rivets for fastening the metal guides have been too large (4mm rivets) and were placed too high, so that the ball was deflected by the rivet heads. I changed now to 3mm rivets and checked the position and ball diameter in Blender, before the next try.

Also the pre-fabricated L-profiles have been not a good idea, as the drilled holes are situated too high. Now I will create my own L-profiles and drill the holes where I want them.

I will add some images soon.

Actually, there was a service menu in the original game and it was quite extensive. I owned the game and played the hell out of it. I can’t remember all the parameters that were adjustable, but there were a lot.  I remember one thing that I thought was peculiar...having to do with needing to p,as a certain number of games before something else that could be adjusted could be accessed. You could lower the number of games needed to a lower threshold

So, here are the images of the newly printed 3D parts. For the ramps, I will print the starting area and then continue with wire ramps. Printing the complete ramps will take just too much time and I would end up with multiple parts.

Hi Sergio,

we have been asked by Noah to remove MP3 files from our tables. So I included a tracklist to specify the exact filenames needed.

So the normal way is to download the songs from Youtube or the game CD and rename them accordingly.

Regards

Michael

Thank you for faithfully recreating the table from one of my favourite childhood games!

I'm trying to get it working in VPVR but unable to get the DMD working. I'm not very experienced with Visual Pinball so don't really know what I'm doing wrong however it is all running fine in flat mode via UltraDMD.

I've tried following the guide here
https://www.vpforums...555#entry474753

But without any luck.

If anyone could provide some assistance it would be much appreciated!

I renamed the tracks everything as it was in the music read me file.In the music folder, then in your own folders, also in PUP folder music.

But this error message always comes up.

Is there a solution for this?
